Suppose a husband of a married couple who want to have children really bad, but can't due to issues with the husband's sperm, asks you to help impregnate his wife. Would you agree? Or would you consider it seriously? They want to raise the child as their own and don't want you to be involved in any way or contact them after the deed is done...

They tried, but it wasn't successful. Also IVF is costly. This is cheap and effective. It seems it is not so uncommon when I googled it: https://naturalinsemination.wordpress.com/2017/03/17/things-ive-learned-as-a-natural-sperm-donor/

This is a possibility, but what do they gain out of it? Blackmail? Also you could show the police communication with them showing their consent to the arrangement...

All they need is sperm, the rest they can do themselves.
And will need written agreement no responsibilities before or after, preferably by a lawyer.
As I see it from 'donor' angle, no pros, all potential liabilities.

You must be very rich...next time the child can claim portion of estate after you passed away...:)

Actually on market there is kit that can help to do the insemination instead of physically doing the impregnate. https://twoplusfertility.com/

You mean liabilities as in potential future requirements for child support from the donor? Are there any Singapore specific laws on this?

Ya this is what I'm afraid of too... But if I cut contact with them, how is the child going to know who I am?

So the hubby knew who are you...then how can you cut away contact...even after 20 years they will know you are the father...:)
Unless the parents dun tell child...but then why do you need to do such stupid things...what happened became rape accusation...:)
If the wife go for IVF program then the sperm will be obtained from sperm bank and donors are anyonymous...nothing to fear...no legal implications...:)
Question - why come to sbf to post such question...unless you are keen to fark his wife for free...:)

I got no idea about the laws on this.
You will have to know what are the due diligence that are done by organisations that collect donor sperm.
And will you or they(the couple) be required to do it as well as to qualify as due diligence.
Agreement is agreement, law is law. Law supersedes agreement every time.
eg, sign an agreement fight till the death with no liabilities, the law will not condone it.
Shitload of research for you to do to protect yourself from liabilities, eg testing for common infectious diseases, genetically predisposed to certain medical conditions ?
Will the couple pay for it ?
There are so much other potential complications.
What will your current or future other feel if and when she knows.
Can of worms, don't see any pros.
Ya this is what I'm afraid of too... But if I cut contact with them, how is the child going to know who I am?
If this is your mindset, then you cannot go ahead with it.

Strange.
So many replies but the pertinent questions are not asked.
How old are the husband and wife?
Is the wife hot?
Do you get to fuck her?
Important because say you're 45 and this wife is 42.
Very high risk of genetic defects. Do you think they'll let you off the hook if the kid needs medical treatment?

I will do it but written consent must be given with clause of no criminal charge will be filed against all parties involved, and total confidentiality will be maintained.
I'm ok with whatever beauty of the wife.

Have you asked them why they selected you and not other people ?
Real valid reasons, not reasons like know you the best or the longest or trustworthy.

This my experience. That you might want to consider.
It will takes more than 1 time of intercourse to have successful insemination.
Will your friend ok with this?
If you are writing an agreement please ensure you'll be absolved from whatever issue that might arise in the future (genetic defect, genetic related illness, etc)

There are risk involved! It all really depends on the couple! There are many case like this in China but over here, no idea! There are many willing doner and also some willing couple over there.
Much lesser risk if provided that they are a cuckold couple! As they are the eager party to raise other men's child! Best if do it during holidays abroad.. Cut off all contact if they are NOT into cuckold..
But finally.. don't count my words.. as I can only speak for myself and my own situation because i actually like it that way! Guard yourself!

Is this just a supposition and academic, or really got approached ?
Why must natural and not just use donor sperm, get a needleless syringe, insert and release ?

Impossible scenario based on current Singapore law. Based on Intestate Succession Act, a child born of wedlock has no succession right. TS can choose not to do any DNA testing if the couple decide to ask him to pay for child maintenance in future.
My guess is the husband is infertile and that it is the wife who chose TS. Is TS similar to the husband in terms of height/weight/blood type? If not, how to justify the child's blood group in future. Blood type A and O will never produce a Blood type B child.
IVF is costly and painful. I read that the wife has to take many injections. I think the couple will cut away contact with you once the child is born. Right now, they are only focused on having a child. Whether the guy can accept the child isn't his own is still a big mystery. If a guy can accept raising a child with no dna link, he would have adopted an orphan. The fact they are asking TS is because the wife wants a dna link to herself. The wife must be quite attractive to TS otherwise why even consider right?
Don't go to any lawyer and sign any document that says you will be excused from all future time bombs. The lawyer can draft a document. It may not be recognised in law. What it will do unfortunately is to tie you in with this future child. That link may backfire on you. Want to do.. leave no trace.

Why not ask the wife be FL?
Can earn money and also choose the father of her child.
Seriously, need someone with a sperm flooded brain to fall for this
