Two old uncles at a house along Lorong 18 gave me that attitude too.

I was going from house to house to take a look when this guy initially waved me off when I tried to enter his house but later made comments like "ni yao jiu you, zi pa ni bu yao" in a sarcastic tone when I insisted on entering. His other friend in the house also made some rude remarks at me.

I was just looking, not even bargaining or making trouble. Looks like these guys are just plain nasty.

But I've never had any issues or have any snide remarks from him, mostly because I think he recognizes me as a repeat customer, and also probably because I dun look like a young NS boy who is window shopping.

Any japanese or any foreigner going to any house will surely kenna chop carrot anyway.
