All according to hearsay in SBF.

1. You can count the number of PRC brothels left from the PRC girls in Geylang thread, but i dont think there are any threads that sums up the viets and thai houses.

2. Licenses can be passed on to family members, if no one take then cancelled.

3. Once 2 years finish, she will balik with no chance to extend.

4. She will be presumably banned from Singapore unless there is a valid reason for ICA to issue her an entry visa (holiday is not a valid reason)

5. There is no "proper" way to apply for one and i don't think any new licenses has been issued recently? Hearsay the licenses last time were granted to individuals who were perpetual illegal OKTs and it's the government's way to make them legal while fulfilling a societal need. Currently the Gahmen might be taking the route of letting Geylang die a natural slow death because Geylang a very valuable zone but no other place in Singapore is willing to take up the RLD challenge so Geylang is stuck with it.

Now before they balik Ica actually gave them a choice if they opt to come back sg for social visit only. Ofcos need local sponsors to apply the visa.
