I see many require deposits using Paynow/Paylah. And I learned that transferring money using paynow/paylah/wise etc will all reveal the sender's full name

No. After 6th June, should be a short form. My guess is John Lee becomes J L from 6th June. This solves 2 problems.

1. Scammers now look for victims via paynow phone number. They key in random phone numbers and see if a full name pops up. Once it does, they have the phone number and full name of the person. They can then plan a scam.

2. Scammers also have been changing their names. We change to hide who we are. They change to become who they wish victims to believe. They can change their name to a temple/church/mosque. Then post a fake sad story asking for donation on social media with an attached QR code. When kind hearted people donate money, they will see the name of an actual temple/church/mosque.

But the donated money goes into a scammer's account.

Regarding cash, i think none will accept cash because they want the deposit before the meeting. If already in person, might as well pay the whole amount in cash

If you are easily worried, go for those that does not require deposit. Want to come out to play don't be so easily scared. So many shops advertised here offer full services without the need for deposit. The only deposit you need to make is sperm at the end of the session
