Hi all bros, anyone can share where to book budget hotel with bath tub attached for transit? i.e 2 hours those type for $20 - $30 dollars? Understand that due to recent claim down a lot of hotel no longer provide transit booking. But i do believe there are still some available. Maybe we can consolidate this thread as useful info for all bros seeking cheap and good budget hotel for short time . Tried looking for budget hotel with bath tub but to no avail yet, maybe some bro here can provide info. Thanks

Most 81 have rooms with bathtub but perhaps got to pay extra if its for over nite.

For 2hr transit gotta request and I suppose based on availability, so ask before u give them your ic for extra bargaining power...

I think the only places that don't do transit anymore are the ones in JooChiat, a fact that I still haven't gotten over coz it was my fav area....

I more interested in rooms with lots of mirrors....so far I know only lor20 and 18...

Hi bro, care to share exactly which chian of hotel 81 u referring? Lavender? but so far i tried kovan 81 doesn't have bath tub attached. as for mirror i think kovan 81 normal room does have mirror inside the room. Btw any bro tired Value Hotel along Balestier area? i believe these's 2 value hotel along balestier itself, one is a building itself while the other is beside one 7-11. anyone knows the rates and facilities provided? i.e bath tub? come on bro, let's keep this thread alive and contribute to serve as a sticky info guide for all bros here looking for good budget hotel!!!!

bro you can try the new cape inn at seng poh road. The room there is big and it comes with a bath tub. The hotel serves more for tourist and coperate clients so no AV. Currently it is having a special opening 2hr for 30 dollars as advertised in news paper. Cheers and happy bonking:)

Tried once in H81 Cosy in Chinatown Keong Siak Street due to shortage of rooms. They called it deluxe room and charge $30 for 2 hrs. But the bath tub is quite run down :(

I tried Hotel 81 at Jalan Sultan. Room are new and with mirror. Never c bathtub... Hav LCD TV also... Aircon is good! May b need to request bah...Sometimes it charged me $30 and sometimes $20 for 2 hours... What is the actual price wo?

Cape Inn was always a good place to go, when Bro Icemen had all his contacts from Lido and Tiananmen. You could spend an afternoon with the girls for $120 instead of the $300 to $500 they charged at night.

Since the names are out, might as well recommend bros go to Amber Hotel in Katong. All the rooms are excellent - far better than H81.

I pay $20 at Amber all the time. Don't know if it is for one or two hours, because I always leave within 1 hour.

Only if you join H81 membership costing $10 one time registration fee for life, it will be $20 for 2 hours for all H81 except for the Bencoolen one which charges $30 even for member.

By the way, does this member thing exist? I know that whenever I go, they scan my I/C and I don't have to pay a deposit, but I think it has more to do with being a trustworthy regular customer.

No one ever told me I was a member and if they give a card or car badge, I sure will burn. I also don't want membership reward points posted to my office or home.

Don't think is about being a regular customer. More of member. Also been cheonging 81s in the past, always paid $40 with I can't remember is it $10 or $20 deposit. In the past they at least asked you if you wanted to sign up as member. Now is subtle one. Just sign and pay, they will sign you up auto. Don't know anything about the mailers, don't even dare to try.

Anyway, i think 81 already changed their system to online...as long your a customer for once...no deposit and 20 for all 81s except for Chinatown and Bencoleen.

Don't think being a member they will send you mailers or any sort of stuff. Just that after you sign up for membership, next time when you check into any H81 you just show your ic, they scan then give you the room, no need to fill up the details on that sheet of paper, just sign ur name can already i think.

All 81 rate are about the same at 2hr 20, some 2hr 30. If want cheaper, go geylang.

i think wat some bro say is right, not all H81 charge $20 bucks for 2 hrs? like previously H81 Kovan, is $30 for 2 hrs on even 2 occasion, no refund, no nothing. Maybe bros here can share about which budget have the best / good room / facilites..i.e : mirrors, bath tub, balcony., scv tv, soccer channel.and also Ample Parking Space!!!!..etc.Of course we can't expect much since already say is budget hotel. like one of the bropreviosuly shared : Amber Hotel is one with good room and facilities even for good rates ( $ 20 / 2 hrs ). AT the same time bros here can even list down their preference. i.e what that actually look for when booking budget hotel. And also provide info on Hotels that has good and cheap rates for overnight stay as well!!!!

Deposit?? Never heard that although go 81 so many times liao... Just pay $20 per 2 hours...Then just left 81...

What is the benefit of member? I saw one 81 has member floor. Any idea?

During Delphi days, they always asked for deposit.

The hottest H81 in those days, was the Classsic in Joo Chiat.

If you were too lazy to call, just need to sit in coffee shop and wait for the Malaysian Chinese FLs to come out and then approach them. If too desperate to wait, then got a few Vietnamese to choose from.

Now those days are gone. I am sure the hotels in Joo Chiat are empty.
