Is a trip I have to make to Italy to settle some cranes deliverey to KL. This trip was to resolve some shipment schedule which I contracted to delivery, but was hampered by the Winter holidays in Dec, as most angmo factories will be closed. I was in deep thought on how to overcome the problem and also on my girl, Gin. At the airport check-in counter, I queue behind this angmo girl in business suit at the business class line.

“RE-SALE” ……that it! I got the idea to resolve my contract obligation. (I told this part of the story in CRO. Don’t want to repeat here. Boring to you all. If you are reading it first time….please go read in CRO Part 12).





We did not return to our seat after the toilet break. We stood by the corridor and chatted. I notice that Ann had her jacket off too. Ann was wearing a white blouse, buttoned up to the last. Ask them to go full speed, and then I went down to the engine room. Sat there by myself and hear the engine as it goes full speed. Discover a missing “beat” in the engine. Stopped the engine and make some adjustment. Then ask it to go full speed ahead. This time, the engine roars into life. I am good at it. Any engine, I can hear and detect the problem. I am proud of this myself too. The crew was delighted. They text their boss immediately, the engine is power up.




Back on shore, the crew thanked me and asked me which company I am from, so that they can engage me next time. I told them to go through Ann. They don’t know who is Ann, but nevertheless text their boss that Ann have arranged someone to resolve the problem.




I arrive back to office after 4 hours out. I got 2 missed calls from oversea. I did not bother to return call. Then it calls again. Ann was on the other line. She told me her boss got the news that the engine was done by one call Mr. Audi. She wanted to thank me for it.




Ann: How do I thank you for it? I have got many people to try to resolve it and spend many consultancy cost but all is just load of rubbish.
Me: No worries. Is done and free of charge.
Ann: Free? Are you not going to charge me (my company)?
Me: No need. Maybe just buy me a dinner when we next meet.
Ann: That is cheap. Okay, deal.
Me: Okay, bye.
Ann: I will be going down to Singapore in next month again. Can I meet you and thank you for it? I will buy you dinner.
Me: Okay. Call me when you come. Bye.





I was not too keen of meeting. Anyway, I make a promise to help; I keep my promise and done. She help me resolve my contractual issue, I help her on the engine. Deal completed.
