I can give you some insight into this since I was born and raised in a western culture. It's the same anywhere. Guys will see an advantage and will go for it every time. I do think many girls born and raised in asia are quite naive but that goes for any country that has a culture that is still uniquely different from the western world.

Plus these girl's options are not necessarily better at home. For example in Thailand your stable middle and upper middle class Thai men are scarce and high demand for marriage. So the poor majority go for foreign men or don't have boyfriends at all. Singaporean girls perceive outside men as more exciting and unique. It has nothing to do with money and just perception. I have met various asian girls who were really obsessed with my ABC'ness and to me that just showed how naive some girls are. I imagine it's the same thing when they encounter a white man..it's just the "unique" factor playing into it.

I think the problem with Singapore is that it was colonized and a lot of people still have a bit of colonial mentality and inferiority complex. Anglo culture is good for some things..it's practical and good for economic stability but socially it divides people up into racial and class hierarchies. That's why some whites (especially Brits, Aussies, and the like) think they are above everyone else and act like idiots when they are abroad. The residual remnants of that anglo-saxon culture is still in former colonies like Singapore. People still look at white people as being "better" in some ways which is just absolutely wrong. Take it from me I grew up with all sorts of whiteys as childhood friends and as an adult.

This isn't standard though. I have dated white girls before (especially growing up) and it's really the same shit everywhere. This is also why I don't like American women much anymore because I had enough of them. Men are men and women are women. It's all about scarcity and uniqueness. If you are unique somewhere and you can leverage your style and personality then the ladies will love you.

A white man is unique in Asia but he isn't anything special in western europe. A black man would do very well in western europe but wouldn't be anything special in Africa. An asian man tends to be the x-factor..because of world media stereotypes and the distance between asian and western culture but it depends on the country and circumstances.
