This goes out to all the cheapskate fellas out there,

Sometime ago, the culprit was a friend and the victim is a friend of my gal in bermuda area. That was solved.

Now not sure who the culprit but the victim is my sister. Last night, one of my viet sisters from 51 was booked and the fellow actually pay her with a cheque of $1,000 for overnight. The best part is that this cheque is from the now defunct OUB and so cannot be cashed out.

If u wanna have fun, pay or use your skills if not just use your own bloody hand, y cheat them. I know what they do may be illegal.

But hey in the name of justice for my sisters, i m going to send this cheque to the police. Let the police handle for all i care for all i care.

To all the samsters, uphold your integrity. I do hope that this fella is not a fellow samsters, cos if u r, u r not fit to be one .........

Bro lament, if this fella is all out to cheat, I believe he would have used somebody elses' discarded chq (or chq bk). It's good u reported to the police - if he does it once, he is likely to cheat a few more gals using the same scam!

sidetrack abit ... maybe i suaku but OUB chq bk cannot b used oredi? i know they have merged but u still can make use of yr OUB savings a.c if u havent closed yrs ... not sure if one's existing OUB cheque book facility will be closed n converted to UOB's tho.

I understand that the brand name OUB is no longer in use and new chq books are issued. Anyway, the account numbers have been changed.

since we r on tis topic, need to warn bros too that all the chq bks issued by banks now are under CTS (Chq Truncation System). It is larger in size than d old ones, n if put under the light u can see d CTS logo.

Some con men may use non CTS chqs which look exactly like the real thing to con d innocent out there. These chqs are no longer valid for clearance. Maybe i suaku lah but 1 can always be caught offguard anytime.

Noticed some ktv girls carrying h/ps with camera function. maybe they use it to remember those that run tips. FLs could do the same and pass on to any of us to post it here.

If the culprit checked into any hotel, you may pay the recept some $ to get this name and address....from there you can pin him down....make sure he swallow the whole cheque book....

Sad to hear such bad news. This will surely had a deep repercussion on the viet gals. Recently, I've got the good fortune to be introduced to the cheong scene at joo chiat... thanks to bro lament and ah boy... Personally, I found that the viet gals are sincere and make very good friends. It's a pity that there are scumbags around that had to exploit their kindness. I can imagine now that viet gals will have a bad impression of us local guys. Things will be different for me now should I visit this joint again considering the fact that I'm still new there.

Well, what is the point, there are so many people who could be of that height, looks, etc. Later beat up the wrong guy. Just let the sisters demand COLD HARD CASH. Maybe that is better for them as well. Rather than cheated.

It's not easy to obtain the info from the recept. I've tried before but to no avail when I tried to help a WL establish the identity of a cheater. This guy promised to pay $700 for an overnight but ended up running away with her handphone! It seems that they are bid by the hotel act or something like that.
