May I know what can she do? She seems to be able to work in various jobs.. Is she on a social visit for only say...1 or 2 months? If so, I think its going to be quite difficult...Massage in clean joints requires a Proper Work Permit and is not easy to apply.

China has a large population of educated youth nowadays! Those that are not so well qualified (academic wise) probably would find it hard to land a good job.. even more so in Singapore as it is prevailed by English.

She willing to do service/retail lines? If she is willing to pick up English... I think it shouldnt have prob. You go to Bugis street these days, all the retail assistants are PRC. If her English is good enough, she can even try to go in the Casino industry!

Sometimes the sad reality truth of foreigners coming over to spore to work when their salary barely cover their daily expenses. With a high room/house rental, plus standard of living is higher, i can understand why some of the workers resort to moon-lighting...

Women resort to sex as the fastest way to earn money..End of the day, its still a service which many men requires so this trade will never die off! :D

CNY is fast approaching, I am sure there are lots of decent jobs available now, especially selling CNY goodies and decoratives.
Just take a walk in Chinatown. However, It is a very demanding and tiring work with long hours. Can she take it?

but will such a large population,even degree holders r veri veri common in PRC.
most degree holders in big PRC cities only earn around 5K rmb,which is less than 1k sgd.
daily expenses @ PRC cities might not be as high as here, but the other expenses in cities r more expensive than sg.
a cinema show ticket k easily cost betw 80rmb to 120rmb (16sgd to 24sgd).....

no wonder there r so many educated PRC gals trying other means 2 earn more $ easily ...

I am always doubtful about the intentions of PRCs working here. At the end of the day, if they get the citizenship and meet someone else who could provide much better for you, would she stay or would she leave?

At the end of the day, there is many jobs available provided she is willingly to take them on. Mastering English and the lingo of S'poreans would effectively enable her to survive in service line.
