Up till now, there is no camera good enough to take a recognizable photo of you after dark (when GL is most active) without a flash from a distance, and with you walking around. You have to be perfectly still, or they will need a flash. Which moron can use a flash in Geylang without being seen ? In other words, there is no way they can take a photo of you.

Even in the day, they'll need a very good hiding place because taking a photo actually draws alot of attention from passerbys. Just try taking a photo of a cute girl in the streets and see how obviously you stand out.

Don't be silly. Even if you are walking, they can't get a good shot of you as long as it's dark. You don't have to run. Unless you are in the habit of standing perfectly still in the middle of GL, you have nothing to worry about.
