This has got to do with our human genetics called Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup. For South East Asia, our marker belongs to Marker: Haplogroup O (M175). In order to trace the roots, one will need to study the evolutionary tree of Human Y-chromosome DNA (Y-DNA) haplogroups ;)
