Recently, I just visited my favorite playground for a little bit of loosen up. And because I am a regular there, I basically tried All the ladies already. That cracking sound is the release of fluid btwn the joints. Scientifically it is known as Cavitation where small cavities of partial vacuum form on the fluid and then rapidly collapse producing a sharp sound.
