Hi, any bros can share info on this island? Ever been there some many years ago, gonna take ferry to Balai, got the passport stamp then go batu that time, as they got no custom there. Many things has changed, there is direct ferry from SG now. :D

Yes, theres a direct ferry (Penguin if i am not wrong) to T Batu. Not much changes past 5 years except some new hotels set up there. I prefer Hotel Pelangi..nearby jetty. Very peaceful place. Can cheong alone...no problem.

Balai is a better bet if I guess. Went to Balai couple of mths ago and was shock to see so many chicks at the Villa. Enough varieties to suit anyone except those who are looking for Model quality.

Quiet enough compared to Batam and cheap enough for a short retreat.

Yes, boat ride is only 2 hrs direct from harbour front 2 batu. Gembira is the ferry company name. There used 2 be very boring, with only gals 2 fuck & eat & sleep but aso muz see what u r looking 4. Some may be looking 4 relaxation etc. Nw there aso open a small shop where u haf abt 50 machines 2 gamble. Last time totally dun haf.

Nw, if i wana full entertainment, i go batam where i can go casino etc. If relaxation, i will go batu or balai.

Agreed with you...not much activities there, but quite peaceful and relaxing place. Only interesting nite activities is going to the joints at nite. Its very different from wat u see in the day. Gambling, chit chatting with the ceweks and can also raba-raba FOC... :p

if you stay at hotel gembira, you can use their swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor and indoor karoake. there is also seafood at night, within the compund. you can ask your girl to bring their swim wear. the cewek pickup place is near gembira - walking distance if you don't want to take motor ride. i find it is quite and safe palce to just relax with your cewek. :)

My cheong stories, I will hold back till we meet for TCSS sessions one of these days. As for cheong tips, very simple...get any chinese driver (those waiting at the exit of Tg.Batu jetty) and you'll be safe. They have a standard rate among themselves so that there would be no market-spolier. As for hotels, the last time I cheong there, it is quite limited. Only a few available...so, you got not much choice. Just ask the driver to book hotel, bring you go choose cewek and bring you go makan. RP 50,000 per day for the driver is enough.
Since you cheong Riau before, the rest is rather S.O.P lor... :D
