Transit hotel which only needs 1IC for registration.

Hi bros,

I have a girlfriend who is 17 years old. Hence, we would like to know which hotel allows registration for transit using 1 IC as she is not comfortable with showing her IC. Thank you in advance for any help or sharing of info.

& the minimum age requirement would be 19.

The younger people these days have a different problem these days. When I was growing up, we were not wondering which hotel allows single IC check-in...there simply was no such option. Well, specifically, no transit hotel options within budgetary reach. Many of us were just having a go at the top of double decker buses, spiral stairways at Marina Square, movie screenings at god forsaken hours, quiet parks and playgrounds. Sembawang Park and the old Toa Payoh garden were favourites during my time. :D

Do pardon me on the off topic ramblings...am just in envy at how the younger ones these days have enough money to go transit hotels or eat at Fish&Co or hang out at Starbucks to talk kok and drink expensive coffee after coffee. As the cliche goes, times have changed. :)

Hee... Bro, your suggestions had been tried by the tons of youth before and I believe quite a few of them found their fun time being splashed all the the media - Stomp, Newpaper, Wanbao and whatever....

Oh... and TS, confirm H81 and even Fragrance need 2 IDs. So you can give these 2 a miss. There are other budget hotels around that MIGHT not need 2 IDs. Just need to look around. For a start, maybe those budget hotels around Geylang.

Years back stomp was either non-existant or not popular yet. Spiral staircase at marina square brings back memories... Me and my ex were going at it for sometime when we realized that there was someone watching us from above. Probably from the hotel swimming pool area or something lol. Got a shock of our lives, quickly pulled our clothes back on and run.
