Hmm, sounds familiar? Remind of somebody you know? I’m sure many have heard of the term “Keyboard Warrior”. But for those who haven’t, here’s a quick introduction of whom you could have been or maybe still are.
According to the Urban Dictionary, A keyboard warrior is generally someone that is spending more time behind the keyboard (on the internet) than anywhere else. He/she is a person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owing to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life.

But I always look down on these kind of ppl.

How do you classify as attention seekers? In life or in SBF?

Agree totally! These people ought to learn how to move away from their computer, stepped out of the house and make some real-life friends
No point staying behind the computer typing away like a boss but in actual life, they just can't do anything

Keyboard warriors?

I honestly think that despite my long postings, I'm a genuine person who gives real advice to people on the forums... and does not keep quiet like most of the Samsters here that just come for FR and mostly just shut up unless the other party wears a skirt.

Well, not that I am perfect, and I admit to having a weakness to talking to women too, but if you say I'm a keyboard warrior just cause I make long lengthy posts when you're used to the Hokkien pai people of SBF, you're being abit biased.

Also, sure I am attention seeking. But what about the girls that dress up pretty and wear short skirts so guys will oogle them and notice them and be extra nice to them? Aren't they the same?

Dunno what's wrong with SBF having a younger English educated crowd. No offense to any of the oldbies here, but do you think you're all that great when some of you just hide behind these clone accounts and make these troll posts and just zap the new crowd with all your clones?

Not to say that all of you oldbies are bad. I like the fact that some of you actually quietly talked to me over PMs when I was green here and gave me advice to help me cope abit when I KC'ed, got some real bad patches and squares, and then kena cheat by FL OKTs too. =)

Anyhow back on track, well I used to have a close group of friends that liked me the way I was too and back then, I was this noisy and 'attention seeking' as well. Sometimes, perhaps it's just a side a person's personality.

I dun really see it as something to be cured, but perhaps to just be accepted and to 'live and let live' as long as it doesn't cause people too much distress.

And that's how Sue sees it!

Maybe....

But so far i know attention seeker mostly , those friendly one still ok.
But i hate most is attention seeker yet with an attitude.

Be it their own selfish behavior or they CHOOSE FRIENDS.
Seen alot and know alot, can't be bothered to know them further.

Not to mention, i think chat-rooms and applications alot.

Just IMHO, and my own observations.

Cheers

Well.. I guess it's a human nature to be noticed or praised by others.

In fact it definitely help in a person's career when he or she knows how to stand out among the rest and get noticed by the superiors.

It's all right to be a attention seeker just don't overdo it.:)

But they are only good at using keyboard....

Maybe that will lead to good fingering skills. Haha.
