Came across this while reading online news too.
Went and found the YouTube clip for it.
Very impressive and brave girl.

For those unable to understand chinese, a short summary.

An unstable lady with a knife is mumbling about armageddon, end of the world.
She has already sustain self inflicted injuries to her hands and was bleeding.

As more people surrounded to watch, unstable lady started throwing dollar notes about.
Then a young teenage girl(under 20 it seems) picks up the money the lady has thrown away.

As she approaches the unstable lady to return the money, the lady starts to points the knife at her.
The teenage girl, wearing hot pants, suddenly lashes out with her leg, tip of her foot connecting with that of the lady's wrist, causing the knife in the unstable lady's hand to flicked away.

Unstable lady was shocked and ran away.
Teenage girl also later slips away.

Nothing is known about the teenage girl.
Can only conclude for now that all she wanted to do was to prevent the unstable lady from doing more harm to herself.
She seems young and is quite the looker. Impressive.
