Plenty of Singaporeans are snapping the properties there like crazy and using it as a weekend and holiday getaway home, some even considering it as retirement place. Think again if you are having thoughts of buying one there for your overseas mistress and flings

Frankly, is it investment? In the long run, I personally dont think so..'Unless you mean snapping up 10s or 20s of them in a row.

It's not an investment, more of a retirement place and second home for Singaporeans when the cost of living is too high. JB has so much land waiting to be developed after Iskandar is completed, people would simply buy a new project after it.

This is a very valid point. Hence, should not just follow the herd craze now. Instead must have concrete reason to buy

Question is would you you want to retire there and compromise safety for a lower cost of living?

There are better options out there in my opinion, Thailand being one of them. :D

if u drive around Malaysia, you will notice plenty of land there. What's the rush to buy properties when land in Malaysia supposed to be cheap:confused:
