For gf, i'll pay n she would chip in occasionally for her shoppings ie. personal stuffs. Not tat i mind paying all, couples shouldn't be calculative wif each other anyway.

For dates, plain dates, i still pay, though i think d ladies should,at least offer to go dutch ie. aft d guy paid for d meals, she offers to buy coffee or movies.(nice gesture) Just to be fair, n confirmed a plus points to d lady.

As a gentleman, I will always take initiative to settle all bills. Sometimes, the ladies would offer to pay for meals and hotel, I will respect her wishes and let her.

Most importantly, both have good times and a fun night out. :D

lols in my opinion, it's always good to go 50 - 50, need not be like exactly split the bill, could also like if the girl pays for this time, the next time it'll be on the guy meals/hotel/etc

Hi sis, most decent guys will want to be the ones to pay....it's not really old school or what....if you are paying mostly for your dates & he's serious about you, he won't like it.....it's a man's thing....I don't know, maybe you have a fat allowance that's why you are paying mostly?:p

Dating activities wise, shopping her own, movie I'll pay.

Very true, some of the gals I went out with really took it for granted that I should pay and they should enjoy. There was once I asked my own sis, why was it so, she explained because the guy invited the gal out so gal will expect guy to pay but no gal will tell you this.

Salute to TS & sis prettymannequin for easing your guys' burden, not many gals willing to do that (well, as far as my limited experience goes :confused:). Tribute to the one who did it (to me), unforgettable.:)

Investing in bf/gf relationship no doubt needs to be calculative, sum when the r/s go sour, they will feel betrayed and may feel the pinch and demand that whatever presents/gifts be returned (especially those expensive jewellery or bags), you may call it cheapskate, but when it happens to you, you will know the taste, and that was bad taste.

Nothing is for sure guaranteed to work out fine, play with fire, burnt by fire. Investments are risky business, dun you think?
