I went there before, and I ended up spending 170 bucks for massage, hydrobath and that so called jua gen stuff. I could not believe the bloody charges man. I will never go back there. Brothers planning to go there make sure you find out their charge table first. Good luck bros :mad:

aiyah long story lah but anyway the short version is I read about this place loh and decided to go try it out thinking it was a proper massage therapy hangout. When I arrived this gal called June and a guy called Dan came out to greet me and started talking about how different their place is as there is a spa in there. I was under the impression that the spa and massage would be 60 bucks or so. I did not ask for prices thinking its norm to pay a flat rate for massage services. Anyway I went into the jacuzzi for about 20 mins or so. They claimed the water is specially treated to remove toxic and stuff. Frankly, it felt like de-clorinated flat water to me nothing special. I was led into a room by June and she started her massage and told me her juagen was a skill she learnt from Thailand etc.

SHe told me normally she charges 50 bucks but for me she'll take 30 so i thought tat was fair. when the session was over she came in with a file and started writing itemised billing on their services. I forgot exactly how it was broken down as I was fuming inside. It went something like:

Spa hydro 50
Manhood therapy = 70 (i thought the 30 bucks was it but it appears the charge was 70 and on top of that i am expected to pay her 30 for additional tips)
Massage = 30
Tips = 30

all in all i blew about 170 - 180 i cannot remember i vaguely remembered my wallet had about 250 bucks in cash and after that session i am left with almost nothing :mad:

If i had to rate well, looks wise, i think there is a thread on June so I dun have to elaborate. Her juagen services was okay i guess but for that kinda money, we can have a few sessions man.

Thats all i remembered. anyway there's no way in hell i would ever go there again unless they start charging something more realistic. they claimed they have lots of clients paying that price range.

no offense to them or anything, if I am prepared to pay like close to 200 bucks for treatment massage as they claimed, I could go to Banyan or other high end spas which uses better materials such as essenital oils and such... i think that place is not worth the money i spent

i can verify this! was there couple of week ago, ended up paying 250. how they break things down, i cant remember, but both of them pretty smart to "calculate" the charges when you in ur birthday suit (with a ducking small towel) ... beware bros! at this price, u can just get a solid treatment at high-class spas ... any bros shud ban this place!!!

To be fair to them. I had a good session there with all the cost informed prior to the start of the massage. It was ultra painful but you will feel the difference after the session.

However, it is indeed very expensive as I spend $120 on the session (with hydrobath)

1) HYDRO SPA with Lavender relaxing oil bath ~ $20 (basic)

2) Body Scrub OR Rub in the Tub ~ $20 (very optional)

3) Relaxing Fusion Massage ~ $50/hour, $100/2 hours, $150/3hours
(They also do Ginger Indonesian Massage, Meridian Accupressure,

4) If a person chooses to have 2 therapists ~ $50 X 2 therapists = $100/hour

I think Home Spa Concept was a totally ripped off.
I agreed with you that for relaxation and pleasure, there must be some form of cost but my experience with them recently was totally ripped off. The tactics practised by the masseue was terrible.

I believe I can get better service (real solid good massage couple with other packages which I do not mind paying at $170 just for 1 hour) at Spa by the River. The atmosphere and the girls are more professional.

I have read the owners' posts here and here's what I have to say (my 2 cents worth):

1 - You (the owners) are of course entitled to charge whatever you feel is right and the fellow bros here have every right to judge whether it was well worth the money. In this case, most of us feel ripped off after one time at that shoppe. So well if one bro says so, we might discount it as propaganda, 2 mabbe we can push the limit. But I believe there have been more then 4 bros here including me that have passed our individual judgements without prejudice. So the rest of the bros here are free to judge the shoppe either way. SOme may choose to go nontheless. So good luck on that

2 - Personally, after one session and the money spent, my earlier notes holds true. I'd rather spend 120 bucks in a real top class spa like Banyan or Conrad. If I feel a need to release, I could spend a bit more elsewhere. Thatway, I get the best of treatments from both worlds. SOme bros may agree with my thoughts some not :)

3 - THe shop claims to have hydrobath treatments at differing prices, personally I do not see anything special when I was there. Hydrobath treatments such as essenital oils were not present. De-toxification treatments such as sea salts and or/ ylang ylang not there too. Hmm I wonder if the shop actually knows anything about hydrotherapy.

End of the day, I guess it was not about feeling sad about spending so much. I am preapred to pay for top quality services. But the reason why I felt cheated was the lack of transparency in that joint. I guess the owners better wake up. If they choose to do business this way, sure they would make some money off bros here once. But i wonder how long a rip-once and lose it business model could last. I might be missing something here altogether.

I guess business is simple math.

Rip off a customer for say 200 bucks and lose him forever vs charging something more realistic like 40 per session and have that bro come regularly , it does not take a genius to deduce that you would yield more that way. ANd of course, specials should remain specials within that room. Why should the massage centre charge for "manhood" therapy ? differentiation does not work in this line if you believe theories of marketing works hee

hmm...me would like to say something...
me have tried the C2M service b4...FR posted also...
me tried their massage and the manhood therapy...
me have found the massage and therapy to be good...
both Den & Jenny claim to be qualified therapists...and me thinks they are...
me have gone for enuf real massages and many 'fake' ones to knoe the diff...
thru pm...they said me entitled to try their services for free...me still have the pm...
they still charged me when me finished me session...
but that's ok wif me...me came prepared...cannot remem the total damage...
though me would have like to make a return session...
the costs would have limited me other excapades...drastically...hehe...
me have suspected that the Hydro Spa was connected to C2M...
but have not gotten the opportunity to try the services...
from the postings by C2M here...it is thus confirmed that they are related...
me cannot comment on the level of services that were gotten...
but me is sure that the services offered are definitely made out clear...
in fact...me actually found the services / attitude rather too professional...
but for sure...the prices / services are listed BEFORE being served...

Yeah we should start a black book thread where joints recieving more than 5 bad reviews should go up the list, then every additional one adds to their rankings upwards! Of course to be fair, when the joint owner expresses regret or decides to come clean by offering lower prices we lower their hate level by one. Having read the FRs, I feel that some bros are mixing bad and expensive together....
This massage place, is it bad and expensive, bad and cheap, good and expensive or good and cheap.....

Some of us tend to rate a place bad just because its expensive...some place are good...but tend to be expensive, these places are left to the higher income bros here.....

If a place is bad, the issue will not be whether its cheap or expensive because I doubt you would not want to go to a place that is bad even if it is cheap...

However if it is cheap and good....its most probably not in Singapore.

From all the comments, my conclusion of the Hydro place is, its not worth the money for the kind of service provided. The bros have given their verdict and if the other bros around insist on going down, its his perogative.
I believe for the amount of money charged, you will be able to find better service with better girls and also at a relax pace, the only difference is no fancy name for the services.
