Recently, there is a case of the PRC gal in Malaysia kana force to strip in the police station. Tonite the newspaper say that some 1 manage to save & distribute the pictures....

What I see inside the newspaper - seem quite real leh... can see the gal strip but the impt part was cover up

If Im not mistaken, it was in the New paper couple of days back. Apparently there was a lineup, this time the policeman and policewoman were on the receiving end. It was also reported that one of them had been identified.

i think this kind of case had happend long time liou catually all this malay hav prejudic to all chinese in malaysia coz we live well then them n they hav to suffer but toay chinese r survivor coz the gorvermont always support them till today n we chinese hav to count own ourself but when we live well they get jalous red eyes in front of us they smile but i think they hates the most!

Bro, no lah, anti chinese sentiments not high.... but the kampung ppl maybe getting disillusioned that city folks have a good life and lots of money. I work in Media so have been getting constant updates in this issue.... sometimes got stupid deputy ministers making stupid statements also sigh....

The problem is if local chinese ger in HC, and get raid, polica cannot do anything.... cos they can't prove anything, same with the local guys.... I have personally stared down cops b4 (got media tag sometimes balls can grow quite large one).

BTW, yesterday I wuz with a friend, an PA to MP. He say next time police wanna take money or summon you.... and you know yoiu are in the right... take down all the car no. plates of the car get stopped (if can take picture) then check if police got summon that car, if not, then report ACA.... only do this if you damn tu lan / or got high principals lah...

Like I said, my friend political so police scared like shit...

But Malaysia still a safe country, media won't let this police case rest so easily one....

Similar raid incident happened to me several years ago in a karaoke in Puchong. Police & Immigration raid, and we were not even asked to show our ID, neither were we asked any questions. The main purpose of the raid was to catch the Viet girls working there (illegal immigrants lah). Frightening thing was that a shot was fired (the karaoke employees, presumed to be gangster-type, were not very cooperative) as my friends and I were leaving the place. This incident was reported in Malay Mail (front page) the next day. Good thing that turned out was we did not have to pay for drinks or tips. Bad thing was many chio Viet gals were caught that nite and I presume they were deported...sigh...

Back to this M'sia police case, I think the culprits should be exposed (names & pictures) and publicly humiliated. They did impose on other people's privacy and they should get a taste of their own medicine. It will serve as a reminder to other police officers that they are not above the law.

How many of us bribed some police officer after being caught speeding or something else? I am sure plenty of us have done that before. It has become a norm. Sad to see the situation is deteriorating, especially when M'sia is supposed to be a developing country.

I half expect the investigation will be prolonged and once the big "hoohah" has died down, no news will be reported anymore. That seems to be the style when dealing with cases involving police officers. No transparency at all. Well, it is accepted fact in M'sia but I feel reforms are needed. I am in currently in China and even though China is supposedly rife with corruption, I am quite surprised to see that police officers are not that easily bribed when one is caught speeding. Goes to show that changes in anti-corruption enforcement and media exposure of corrupt officials work wonders in keeping deviant govt. officials in line.

This case is also being reported widely in China, especially on the Internet. Really bad press for M'sia. The M'sian govt. should really evalute the overall social undercurrents and make appropriate changes.

There were stories of worse cases from there but it had never been reported as there were no evidences made known. Detained girls were helpless and the policemen had their ways with them, rape is almost definite. At the end of it, the gals were too traumatised to report anything. I doubt they will be able to bring charges without concrete evidence like that recent video. It happened just across the causway, not any kampung.

I wonder if there is any group there who can really stand up and report against such abuse. Very sad place.
