But for the right reasons and companionship in cases I have seen is that they were together for quite sometime and they have passed their prime, however getting married together means staying together and just reinforcing it that's all.

There must be some form of miscommunications between the two of you (is not entirely your issue. I know that). If not, you will be able to handle the situations well that will not cause either party to be somehow hurt. Talk to her more if you can. The worst could ever happen is going each others way. i do have a social acquaintance in this situation. He was married before but got divorced... I won't elaborate on his divorced because it was a unique situation. but what happens is during his separation he met this high class lady and they got involved.

both of them lived together and she even gave birth to his son now i think 10 years old. but they are NOT married. Just co-habit. they families are involved with each other and his "wife" helps out however, his this wife/companion is a super powerful woman with an extremely high flying job. he is also super capable and he is the sort that can own any sports car any time and I also saw his hobby costing him few millions. he does takes care of her needs and his son and still is working his ass off.

such is a case where both parties are willing and both are singaporeans living here.

so TS if you want a companion and not get married as in signing the papers again, you have to move on to find the right person. without moving on, the right person will not appear to you.
