hey brothers decided to start a thread on club MoMo since there is none on this happening club. just went there ard 11 plus. wah the place was packed with groups of OLs and student type chio bus shaking their BonBons. the crowd there seems to be of a more working n mature type. anyway hang ard the pool area can bio a lot of chicks. the dance floor if u get lucky can do some rubbing n touching too hehe. so mi and my frens left about 1 plus. as we drove out to MOM building that road. my fren say, hey isnlt that Lynn Poh the actress? i took a look and it indeed was her. she was dress in a black dress and tied a pony tail. wah looking like a slut at the road side hehe. ;)

usually chiongster.. age grp between 21 for guys and 18 for gals to ard late 30s. quite happening place.. think some months back they got dunno wat model competition, many pple just flood the place.

where is DXO? I got friend working in ntuc, maybe got discount. But ntuc things alwasy for family. Wait go there, all you see are uncles and aunties with children running around drinking orange juices...:)

Actually when there is competition.. every1 juz watch. But when competition ends.. the fun begins..
I club there almost every week..

Music there is mostly R&B to ans the other bro who was asking wat type of crowd.

N for DXO i realli find it CMI, boring... n no crowd unless there is event.

well, a year ago I used to regular in MoMo, until my vitamin M dropped a bit low.

A lot of opportunities,specially the side where the live band used to play. Maybe because the crowd more mature.

Met a big breast mixed blood girl, some american asian, and she was good, I swear.

And good thing, the next time she see me, she smile and take her own time to recce if my coast is clear before joining up with me. Dont gate crash.

Alas, since I stopped going there a year ago, dunno who is having fun ..

Maybe Momo was the first of the multi concept - live band, POP DJ and techno, it did have a good crowd.

three sections.

One with live band - POP. one with techno laser whatever (I am old so cant understand), and one with DJ POP mixed with RnB

Just heard MoMo not closing down but will be going for renovation sometime this month.
Will re-open will new concept mid-May.
Not too sure if the name will change.

Momo sianz la...cannot make it. Last time liveband area not bad but now totally cant make it. Think all the ppl flocked to St.James or Cannery.. It's a matter of time they will be shutting their doors for good. Jus look at how Thumpers & Devils suffered even with regulars support...dont think Momo can survive long enough with especially those young crowds with limited spending power compare to the those big whales patrons in ST.JAmes & Cannery...:cool:

I never club at Momo over Friday and Saturday ... so can't comment

Well wednesday crowd will start to come in only after midnight ... around 2am will be the most crowded then the crowd will start to disperse again ... well ... its ladies night ... and on a typical night, gals will outnumber guys ... really ... and actually many KTV, SPA, gals does go momo to chill on wed :)

last I went didnt c much babes....mayb coz i went after 2am....guess the spa n ktv gals like it coz its near their workplace in tanjong pagar n boat quay....will try to head dwn there after exploring PH wed 1st......

btw is the temporary closure date cfm??

Sounds so cheena, so beng... if its gonna be the new name. Momo sounds more catchy.
Used to club there 2-3 times a week, with Fri & Sat confirm down. Nowadays, dont even go there. The last time, I club-hopped, I popped by Momo to see see. Was so shocked to see so lil people on a Fri night. It was REALLY small crowd, so we left for Zouk. Doesnt matter about the entrance fee for Momo, cos I am member, so dont need to pay or worry go in pay entrance then like very wasted if go off just like that... . So can go in and out without worrying about my Vit M. Hees...

Velvet Dragon was officially opened last Friday 11th May.
The place looks the same except with a fresh coat of paint....:D
