hmm.. i think the most ulu hotel is near town. Turn left at the traffic light at Parklane and go up the hill. You will pass a park of some sort and then reach a hotel at the end of the road. Its quite a romantic place IMO and not many people know of the place. I duno about the charges. The Parklane i mentioned was the one where it used to have a lot of billiard saloons.

The hotel name is
[email protected]. Its a boutique hotel by Cathay Organisation. Its next to Mt Emily Park and at Upp Wilkie Road. Stayed there b4. Quite nice though most of the rooms there no TV inside. Mostly for foreigners and teenagers.

Asphodel Inn : Totally out of sight from the red light districts like GL, JC and Katong areas. Transit 2 hours $20

:) totally agree, asphodel is along race course road just opposite the old mee toh primary school, used to frequent that place before my prc girl went back, registration is fast especially if you are served by the friendly chinese uncle, parking lots are available along the road. as there are a few HDB blocks nearby even if your car is spotted by people who know you, you can always claim you are visiting a freind as there are a few HDB blocks nearby.
There is one in Mayo Street, use to frequent it with my gf, called Mayo Hotel, $30 for 2 Hours, not bad, pretty discreet, just off the main street and opposite Sim Lim Towers, so very much a centralised location and should anybody questions your presences there, it would be a simple excuse to be shopping nearby, also nearby is bugis mrt should u not own a car.

It is called Hangout hotel if I'm not wrong. Owned by the boss of Cathay Group. However a note about this hotel is that they discourage hourly rate.
If you call in you'd probably not be able to get hourly booking. The boss of Cathay is trying to make it a clean backpackers hotel.

If you drive, try Mount Elizabeth hotel. It's on the left of Mount E, you turn left instead of right to Mount E hospital.

I second Changi Hotel, cos the carpark and checkin counter for short time is in the carpark. You then proceed to the room vide a back door away from the main entrance. The minus is the quality of the room. If improve would be ideal.

Located at the end of Mt Elizabeth (beside York Hotel). Though considered discreet as its near to orchard road yet at a quiet corner, might not be suitable for short time. The hotel does not have transit stay. Rate for walk-in customer is about $170 - $190 per night.
Furthermore the occupancy rate is rather high, usually tourist from package tour.. :)

i'm not sure if my choice is the most discreet... but i always go there for the short times...
its h81 lavender near jln besar std. i find it discreet enuf due to the following reasons: -
1. there are not too many people around the area. there is a small carpark at the x-junction, opposite the stadium.
2. there is a small alley/walkway from the carpark to the hotel... oso nobody will see.
3. from the alley.. enter the hotel from a side/back door.. i think it's meant to be a service entrance.
just my opinion. thanks!

Go Swisshotel Stamford (former Westin Stamford). People will think you are going to Raffles Shopping Centre for shopping. Hahaha...
Additional Good point is can bonk at balcony at high floors! Confirm no one can see so far away!
Highest so far is 55th...

Hahaha ... great minds think alike - just gald my most discreet hotel hasn't been exposed here yet.
Anyway, any old-hands can provide enlightenment on which is the nearest hotel (reasonably hygienic & economical) to use when your date give you the "green light" when you are located at:
1) North of the island ... eg, Yishun
2) West of the island ... eg, Jurong
Thanks in advance. :D

Beg to differ ... have you ever end up waiting for the lift with your date ... & find that the girls there are mostly prostitutes while the "uncles" ask this question with their eyes: "how much did you pay for this nice clean girl??" ;)
try hotel 81 at bencoolen basement parking
Beg to differ again ... thought it was exactly the basement parking that's NOT discreet - it's always full & it's a dead give-away when you linger in your car waiting for the next free lot.
But I like this hotel ... always ask for the side that's facing the road - one of my MILFs share my fetish in displaying our passion to the NAFA students doing their work just opposite the road!!

For me I am waiting for Kovan 81. Its almost 70% finishing already. Saw they are doing up the lights and deco stuff. This place to me quite discreet.
I can park my car at upper serangoonshopping center than walk behind it, I saw the back of the building has a few entrance points... but not sure it will be like Balestier 81. Anyway there is a minor downside to it. Unlike B81 which the back is facing the back alley. K81 back has a few newly build private houses. (will people buy it?)
Will update you all, if I drive pass there again, maybe even take some photos :D
