He meant after the general elections, GST may rise up to 7%. So we singaporeans are getting harder in life, with a 2% add on. Price might increase for OL,WL,FL,GIGGLO, may rise up abit lor. Anyway, what u want to do, there is nothing free in this world, govt. giving progress package, now we will have pay back to them lor. :o

Overall it will affect our affordability, if 2 more % are paid to buy others items..it means we have 2% less $ for bonking or creating opportunity to achieve it..so it is correct forum, adult sex discussion??? Ha Ha

yes ,i believed they would raise GST to 7% if PAP win all the 84 seats, this would give them the impression that they have a VERY strong mandate to do anything they like and decided anything without consulting us because they won't be any oppostion to raise any question and not to forget Public Transport council had been lobbying to raise MRT and bus fare for 2 years liao, wonder why they been rather quiet eversince election around the corner ?? use your vote else regret later

Now already almost everyday kpkb Money Not Enough. Want to get marry also have to save a few years.
If GST raised to 7%, I think I stay single better. If urge come, go GL Kio Kway lor. Or PCC or whatever, rather than after married found money not enough plus all the bills and expediture. Sure will develop into family problem and may even ended back to single life again (back to Sq 1).
