How to get rid of love bite?

Can some experienced bros help me to get rib of love bite asap? I visited a WL last night and she got carried away and planted a love bite on my neck. It is so big, obvious, red and clear, OMG! Desperate to get rib of it before my OC saw it. This is really a time bomb!! :(

I heard that you can remove it by using a hard boild egg and rub the "infected" spot :D .. dono if this works a not...

take a metal table spoon, put it into the freezer for 2 hours, take the spoon out and apply on ur love bite. This will remove ur love bite. This is what i saw from the tv..

There is no way to reduce the mark. So u should make it BIGGER! Pinch it untill it is the size of a fist and say u got punched.

Just would like to share from my experience , it does work on me , hope it work for u guys too.
Firstly just get some warm water, but best to get as hot as possible see how much you can tahan but don't get scald hor. Then use a towel n wet it with the warm water, drain ecess n rub it to the spot where u got "bite" with a certain pressure that u comfortable n repeat it. For me it took about 5-10 mins of rubbing and the "bite" gone..., it work for me but not sure it work for you bros or not, just my 2 cents worth of knowledge, hope it helps you "siam" your OC 's eyes :D Cheers~!

Bro use garlic..rub against the love bite as long as possible...with a bit of strength...will go off..

Take ginger and cut into half, use the knife and slice the cut area a few times, let the ginger juice come out and rub around your love bite, the feeling is like biting your skin and your love bites area will feel very hot, stop for awhile then continue, dont rub untill blister, later on your blood will start to spread already, its take one or two days to disappear if your bites is very red, if really cant cure in time, use oxy cover to cover your bites, this is what i use last time, hope can help you too

Improve blood circulation. Tried before and works. But may need to do for longer than 10 minutes.

A love bite is basically a bruise. There is no way other than natural healing, to remove it. So the best solution is to wait.

Most people will recommend hot or cold treatment (ice, hot water, etc), which, as far as I know, is old wives' tales. As one bro mentioned, use concealer. That's the simplest method.

Best you go buy a sun tan lotion with the lowest protection, go to the beach and get totally sun burnt.
A bit painful but less painful than when OC finds out.

Another way is to pretend sprain neck muscle, put Salonpas over the bite. To avoid suspicion, put on 2 or 3 patches so when she wants to check, Chances of finding out is half or 1/3. :D

If a golf ball actually hit you at your neck, you will be showing more than just a small 'love bite' size mark.

There really is no way to make it go away. Tanned people will be luckier because less noticeable. Fair-skinned ones more jialat.

Asian old-wives tale is to place warm water or to rub on it. This will cause more viens around the spot to break, thereby making it worse (Theoretically).

Ang moh will advise a cold compress. It cools the area down, therefore preventing further breaks but it also 'freezes' the area. Blood is a bit harder to dissipate. Mark won't grow bigger but may be present a bit longer.

get more injury around the other parts of body and pretend that i fell into the drain or scratch the mark it is swollen and say mosquito bite;)

i have gone with this, personally tried it several times in the past and still doing them now and works on me.

my recommendation, put a few metal spoons in the freezer, after an hour or so take any frosty ice cold spoon and use it to apply firm pressure on the hicky until the spoon is no longer cold. apply next spoon after a period of 5 minutes, after a few rounds, the hicky fades off, like magic.

that's why i keep a few metal spoons in my freezer these days, you'll never know when it will come handy.

Bro I quite agree with you cause i use to get rid of love bites fast. I only cotton wool + hot water and soak on infected areas and this can remove fast after repeating it. Of course not 100 degree celius la.:eek:

just apply heat to the affected area ... the heat promotes circulation and will help disperse the clotted blood faster ... u can try using stuff like "hong you" / deep heat or whatever ... rub the affected area as well to help with the dispersion ... i managed to clear my hicky within a day ... got it at night and cleared it by the next evening :D

A big thank you to all kind bro for offering your advices! I was on high alert last weekend. Have to be very careful with my body posture, just in case she caught that red mark on my neck. Than say thousand words also no use liao. Anyway, have tried both the hot and cold treatment that some bros mentioned, seems to work but not immediate. That mark is not so visible now, hope it can go off by tomorrow.

Phweee...time bomb defuse...got to be careful next time.:p
