help! company block sbf

hi folks,

need help here ... no sbf ... very boring leh ... can only access from home. anyone have a solution. i tried anon proxy like the-cloak but can log in thus cannot view this section or post anything. tempted to dl a good anon proxy but scare got virus.

so anyone have used a good and trusted tool to get pass this please PM me.

My advise will be try not. If your sys admin detect something fishy, and traced back site you visit previous, you may end up losing your job as visiting porn related site is alway fire-able offence.

Most of time all site you visit in your office is been logged, it's only because too many log to look in that admin did not realise about porn site visit.

Bring your laptop computer and surf SBF during lunch hours..

If you have your private office, you can log on to SBF using your laptop and read it when you are free... (Thats what high-powered executive do...)

Some anon proxy sites allow u to log in to SB & hence view this forum, reply, PM etc... i am on the antiwebfilter.com now during 9 to 5. just keep trying different anon proxy website.

If you have an internet connection at home, find the IP of your connection. If its via a router, get the router to port forward port 80 to your PC.
Download a utility from the internet called rinetd.
Now, the stuff you need to know about sammy boy is:
Name: www.sammyboyforum.com
Address: 216.65.64.110

Now, if your PC's address is for example 192.168.5.6(I'm asssuming you're behind a router and you are port forwarding) then your config file for rinted is:
192.168.5.6 80 216.65.64.110 80.

The config file is called config.txt. RUn rinetd from the comand line as:
rinted -c config.txt.

What is happening here?
When you want to go to sammyboy from work, you enter in the Internet IP of your home router into your webbrowser. This request will hit your router on port 80, get forwarded to your PC, get redirected to 216.65.64.110 and the response packets will go the same way.

See if it works, its worth a shot.

Bro, just try typing in sammyboy address in the address bar as IP not the fully name. Some firewall only block the name rather then IP address. Worth to give it a shot :D

As wat i had say,best no to try, really especially in company, they haf network montior that see what are the package passing through it does not mean if u use a proxy server u might not be detected.. so my best advice to u is not to try seriously. if u get caught dun reget.

Let me give u some technical details on how u will get caught if the network administrator is as good as me :D .

All he has to do is to enable the IP accounting on the router, capture the destination and source IPs, and run the IP accounting or IP cache flow on the router will get u caught red handed. If there's a firewall or any network monitoring tools such as HP OpenView or CiscoWorks, u r toasted. It's so easy to identify U even if u r running NAT or DMZ.

Dont ask me how to bypass coz I dont know... haha. :p

Let me share my experience. My campany also block sbf not long ago, but before our network administrator is blocking sbf, I didn't used it already. I always do dial up when I need connect to sbf....:D
