At about 2030hr, a dark blue breadloaf van stop, open the door, and out came 5 or 6 AV running after the street walkers. Each one came back with one chick, grabbing them by the hair.

Well, it wasn't a nice scene to watch, seeing these poor chick treated like animals. Dunno if this is a daily occurence or just happen once in a blue moon.

Now, the thing is how come there ain't any look out. I am sure people there would note down the Reg No of the van. I doubt AV have so many vans to rotate around.

Well, just to clarify, the AV are males, average height and built, in dark tees and jeans and of course, sports shoes. There were like 6 or 7 of them, assisted by 2 females.

Just witness an AV raid in front of the Darlene Hotel at GL.

At about 2030hr, a dark blue breadloaf van stop, open the door, and out came 5 or 6 AV running after the street walkers. Each one came back with one chick, grabbing them by the hair.

Well, it wasn't a nice scene to watch, seeing these poor chick treated like animals. Dunno if this is a daily occurence or just happen once in a blue moon.

Now, the thing is how come there ain't any look out. I am sure people there would note down the Reg No of the van. I doubt AV have so many vans to rotate around.

Sadly, for many women it may be their only way to make a living or support their family. Very few choose the life willingly. Think kindly of them.

AV raid GL again on 31 May.:mad: Read from the newspaper that the operation was carried out for 3 plus hrs. A total of 87 FLs and 7 trans were caught. Of the 87 FLs arrested, 1 of them is a Singaporean. Some were caught in the middle of the transaction with their clients. Apparently, the AV focus on hotel this time. The newspaper reported that the officer will first check the guest book and zoom in on those short time booking. So seniors out there please exercise caution when you chiong there. :( Sigh!!!

whatever it is, the AV officers are not suppose to pull the hair of the FLs. This is termed as excessive use of force. They are suppose to place them under arrest by restraining their hands with plastic cuff and not pull their hair and drag them along. Male officer are also not suppose to arrest female FLs but only female officer are allowed to do so. Exception is when the FL turn violent and attack the AV officer. Then in self defence, the AV may use reasonable force to restrain the FL.

If anyone took a picture and send to the press, AV(under CID) will have to answer for it.

As for them checking on hotel room, what gives them the bloody right to? So what if i check into a hotel with my PRC gf for short time of 2 hours. Do I expect AV to knock on my room door or budge in and arrest my gf for soliciting? This is infringment of privacy! The law certainly does not have such provision. Only thing I know if AV suspect the lodging is being used as an illegal brothel, then they can raid the place but hotel room? Or if the lodging is housing illegal immigrant. Its a wonder AG Chamber has not step in and Singaporean has not cry foul yet.

As far as I'm concerned if two consenting adults are in a hotel room, that's their damn business and nobody else! This is all getting too much!
