To some of us it may be a big deal - but in "less developed" countries e.g. LOS, PRC - it is actually quite acceptable for the FLs in the line to have BFs who actually are actually in the know.

I suppose they are more "open" in such relationships - though I myself do not understand why their BFs would accept their GFs being FLs - or rather to continue being FLs. Different circumstances, I suppose and to each their own.

I agree bro. Many ppl around this globe have different ways of living. There are many others from other countries who dun have proper education system like ours and thus have problems finding jobs.
Try going w/o job for a yr and probably any of us will be in those shoes as well.

I do feel guilty sometimes that I buy sex from FL esp those from more backwards countries. But there is no way to I can stop myself from doing that. Different ppl different needs I guess... *sigh*

I have seen minah FL with their boyfriend waiting at the coffeeshop while they "work" at Geylang. Abang will send them on their motorbike and wait for them.
In some cases it's quite sad. Abang is actually pushing drugs to them. They first let them try the drugs for free then they tell the GF if they want more, need money. So if minah no money, then he will tell her to sell her CB or work in KTV. So Abang makes profit without her knowing!

Bro, its unfair to push the blame onto the husband...If the daughter is doing this to help out in the family, do we blame her dad for not bringing in enuff dough??? The breadwinner might have his own difficulties as well....

Most of the times, the bf/husband are unaware of it...If they know that their loved ones are resorting to the oldest trade as means of survival, do you think they will agree to it in the first place??? They would rather rob, beg or steal than to shame themselves or subject their loved ones to such humilation...
