Its damn stupid of the police to close down Tuina purely for the reason of 'extra service' being offered by PRC.
Look at health centres, don't they offered 'extra services' too? In fact, I sometime find that health centre is more expensive as most girl only do "piano massage" but Tuina do offer hard massage.

Hehe..bro agree..but some of the TN also do piano massage...as for HC..i always ask for the 1 that can really massage...but have to lower down expectation lah...but then again there are the younger 1 that can give a gd massage...cheers bro..:D

The Police did not close down TUINA. Now, the Police is regulating on TUINA.
They have a new set of rules and regulations which many TUINA owners cannot fulfill.
The new ruling affects many of those working in TUINA because of their immigration status.
The Tuina Owners close down because they know with the new rules and regulations, their premises and staff are flouting the current ruling, that is why they closed.

If the Tuina follows the rules and regulations, then they are more than welcomed to open.

Health Centres are licensed. Health Centre Owners have to go Cantonment Complex and apply for a Health Centre License.

You say the Police are stupid, then the way you talk like this without getting your facts right, doesn't make you any better than them in terms of intellectual substance. Don't you think so? :cool:

Think those bro who cheong HC or SPA better to do more often, I have a feeling the next time those Uniform Guys will target are these centre that do not have the proper permit and paper to operate as SPA or HC....

More check should be coming down, but I do agree that most TN gals give better massage compare to some "piano lesson Gals" in HC..

HC - got some form of registration and control. AV knows what's going on inside those individual rooms with attached showers! But they close one eye leh. Maybe, they have raids, but hardly catch anything becos got pre-raid info la. This has been going on since the colonial times.

TN - looks like it has gone out of control, in HDB estates, scantily dressed PRCs trying to lure customers, socialising with customers and so on. Hygiene, STDs are another area of concern.

It would be interesting to see how all these would evolve in the weeks or months to come. More stringent rules coming or could this just be just a storm and then calm afterwords.

Normally the police will only act if they receive complaints from the public.

I guess with so many TN sprouting around the HDB heartlands, many people are worried about the social impact.

Many fathers and mothers are worried their teenage sons might be tempted to visit one.

Many wives and girlfriends are worried that their husbands/boyfriends are tempted by the PRCs.

Many MPs are worried their wards become red light districts.

I think this has been planned long time ago but becuase of the elections, action has been postponed until now. Also the clean up has to be done before the World Bank meeting which is coming up soon.

Anyway, I guess instead of operating from TN shops, the operators will offer home/office services.....

HC is forever more expensive because HC provides more spacious massage room and it has more facilities such as hot/cold pool, TV/video lounge, lockers area .. and HC is only allowed to operate in certain districts / buildings / complex hence their rental and overheads are much higher.

HC also serves as an ideal place for business associates to socialise & to talk about biz deals (similar fuctions as KTV).

Will you bring your biz friends to a TN shop to clinch a deal? :D

I agree, HC is cleaner and more spacious and can bring business clients there to induce them, make them blur and sign on the dotted lines! Also, HC is not really that much more expensive than TN in term of more cosy environment and more facilities! And also, HC girls wash up and so cleaner than TN girls becos TN got only 1 toilet for the whole staff and brothers to shitt and bath at the same time. TN Girls no time to wash and have to wait long long even to go and pee!

But on the other hand, TN also can for different business clients like vegetable suppliers, chicken and meat delivery men, etc :p

Very subjective, its actually TuiNas better massage than HC BUT u must go for those that wear white overcoat not those give 2 ball ones!!!
