Bumping my thread!

This week is a special week for me.

It was around this period one year ago that I discovered my wife cheating on me.

Time flies and time heals all wounds. I never believed in it but I managed to pull myself through. The first three months were really hell because I was in a confused state and I could never ever believe that my efforts in this marriage can so easily be 'consumed' by some other man's sweet nothings and sad story.

Told myself she's not worth my tears, she's only the mother to my kids. I moved on and made some new friends (i have a thread on this).

There was this particular girl which I didn't write about. She was special. She cared for me and we genuinely liked each other and we know we won't go beyond the line we had drawn. We gave each other what we lacked in our own marriage. The relationship lasted only several months but it was very good. She taught me to be strong, gave me the confidence that I lacked and most importantly, she brought me back to my feet. It ended because I didn't manage it well enough. I couldn't give more. I also learned more about STD risks and transmissions (and no, it's not because she has any disease. But as a father, I have to be responsible for the sake of my kids).

I believe I can handle a RS better now. I hope to hear from some ladies really soon. :cool:
