As usual there is this thai band call NOVA band performing 4 sets per day. During disco session there r those sg dancers performing for u then they will come n pester u to hang flower on them.geo is open daily till 5am

The dancer dance in a glass cubicle (sort of) in Geographer.
No LDs but buy flower to hang on singer or dancer. If not wrong, its sgd10 each.

Nope, its not a KTV. Its a club/disco with live band
Quite a handful of the customers are thai speaking;) The hard liquor are quite pricey though compared to beer its more cost effective as the beer is about 40-50/jug

Well after the renovation, the whole place looks cheapo. I have already feedback to the management to do something abt it.

Normally, I will go to Live Impact first and then after closing hours, just walk to Geographer thai disco which closes at 5am everyday.

This joint getting from bad to worse....the bro who mentioned cheapo is right on the button....partly due to the 'new' decor (not much renovations) and also the customers....knn now becoming chao ah bengs and ah lians hangout (lians I dun mind)....the band also getting lazy....inviting customers to go on stage to sing instead of performing.

The Singers in Geographer not so chio leh. Saw them when in GM with my Thai's singer from TD during one of the evening, a bit matured type as compared to TD ones. My gal told me that all are their Pii Sao so when take a closer look, no make-up, they look very plain...

went to this place last nite, QUite happening leh.

They have 2 dancer cum mixer pushing girls. One has the CFM look and another has the cute syt look.

then they have one thai performer that has a D-cup. songs are quite up beat and best is this place not 2 crowded so have place to sit, rest drink and also play with the mixer girls. heheheh.

as for the performers, can see 1 drummer, 2 guitarist, 1 keyboard, 3 male singers and 7 girl singers. the girls are not bad looking. but can see they have regular people hanging flowers.

beer is at S$38 a jug... reasonable for clark quey area. saw a few gals roaming around wonder if can pickup ??

any bros have more info about this place ?

Geographer 2 is located at 25 Shenton Way, Yess Leisure Centre, Prince Edward Carpark near Singapore Conference Hall. Another Thai joint Icon is there too.

Two men who took part in a brutal attack on a pub manager in Clarke Quay in April were jailed and ordered to be caned by a court on Tuesday.
Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, 27, then a bartender, and Alfe Rohan Bakri, 32, then an operations supervisor, were with four others when one or more of them punched and kicked Mr Eugene Chua Tee Yeong, 30, on his head, causing him head injury.

Mr Chua died of his head injuries two days later on April 25.

The pair, who originally faced the capital charge of murder, pleaded guilty earlier on Tuesday to reduced charges of causing grievous hurt.

Ibrahim, who has five previous convictions for drugs possession, unlawful assembly and extortion, was sentenced to 4 1/2 years and ordered to be given six strokes of the cane.

Alfe, who also has previous convictions for traffic offences and thefts, was jailed four years and sentenced to six strokes of the cane.

In sentencing the pair, District Judge Wong Keen On said the court would not condone such 'senseless killing and violence' and had to deal with them severely.

The brutal attack took place at the entrance of Georgrapher's Bar - a Thai discotheque - at River Valley Road at about 4.20am on April 23.

The cases against three others are pending. They are Ibrahim's girlfriend, Marliana Khamaruddin, 29, Alfe Rohan's girlfriend, Nurashikin Md Yasin, 24, and Shariah Solahan, 21.

The attack came after Mr Chua accidentally bumped onto Shariah's shoulder and got into an argument. Both were tipsy.

Mr Chua pointed his middle finger at Shariah who confronted him angrily. Mr Chua's friend, sales manager David Ang Wee Hong, 31, grabbed her by the throat in a bid to push her away. Nurashikin then pulled Mr Ang's hand away and gave him a punch. Marliana also joined in to punch Mr Ang.

Shortly later, Ibrahim, Alfe and their accomplice, who is on the run, came to know about the incident and planned the revenge attack. The three men confronted Mr Chua while the the women confronted Mr Ang. Both Mr Chua and Mr Ang were kicked and punched.

That joint CMI big time! NNKC every nite 3 or 4 tables onli & twice me been there cant see a single GRO! Call Ah Don the agent to comblian he said this joint no GRO.....wtf? Close shop better la.

Me was 1st customer then my kaki bought his foreign frens there.....they puzzled ask me how cum nobody....me joked told them they are my VVIPs so i booked the whole place to entertain them & they actually believed me!!! The pony tail guy singer also a pain in the ass.....tell unfunny jokes....the girls singers machiam like Pino maids.....dressing like fuck.....face CMI....cant sing for heavens.....after finish bottle chop chop left this place but KNN lao cheeby got one chow beng act machiam rich in a gaudy Pink, Yes PINK cheapo fake mod jap "sportscar" blocked our cars which were parked at the "private space" next to the joint. Waited for 15mins before the "valets" & management found the beng then can leave. BAD EXPERIENCE....This place also better close shop la.....:mad:
