Was there last night.. Regular Beng Canto Pop Place lo.. Got gals, women and aunties lo.. Got some chio bus, and PRCs and some viets.. Also lotsa Bengs.. If u wanna fish, try elsewhere better la, as most gals got guys/BEngs with them.. I also saw some ang mos try to fish there (they not there to listen to CHINESE SONGS rite??? kekeke), but they go round round also no gals leh ( i counted one botak ang mo go round 3 times!)

So if u dig Chinese/Cantonese songs, or like the ol canto at Marina south, then visit this place lo... ( P.S. I will visit the other disco (Movida?) at the other side of this building soon... check out the music n decor..)

this place got 3 level,

level 1 pub area with some performing singer. (if I did not remember wrongly)
level 2 ktv pub area, can select your songs to sing etc. (we stay at level2)
level 3 Karaoke room, each room is unique in design, and you can choose your favor design to suit your taste.

Bro lurpsexx is right.. most girls we saw at level 2 are mostly guess of some guys liao...
As for other girls, you have to fish yourself or self provide hence step in around 8pm and leave around 10pm empty handed:(

Went there to explore last night with some friends after a dull evening at Thumpers. My first nite out to DragonFly, opened a bottle of chivas to share among friends, damage $200. Quite a nice joint with nice cheeks and SYTs. The live band with William Scopion sounds good too. ;)

yes, 228 for one bot n 1 yr membership which entitle u to sign in 2 guest. no restriction! of coz ladies nite, ladies goes in for free, u need not sign them in. additional info, member buy one bot of henessy at 144. much much cheaper than non member at 200 per bot.

ok me last saturday juz been there first went to Movida then later to Dragonfly, first time been there juz reached outside only inside got fight liao but expected one all canto pub are the same hehe... too many ppls at the live band so end up at second story KTV pub and the beer are expensive one jug $40. Heres the info of the building St James Powerstation.

There are total 9 outlets in St James Powerstation and currently only 4 outlets having membership cards which are Movida, Dragonfly and the other two cant remember... For applying membership is $288 unless u are Devil's Bar member or UOB card holder then is $188 but promotion vaild till 15 Dec 06 only.

As for the cover charge $20 for guy and $15 for girl, once u got the stamp of one of the outlet u can go in any of the outlets in St James Powerstation without paying cover charge. Same apply to the membership one and for all outlets.

This is a new zone for all cheongster... Must go!

Bro SJG, Dragonfly only play canto and chinese pop music... so far i only been to two clubs at there which are Movida and Dragonfly. Movida are playing world music and more ang mo over there a bit of gaylish to me... But i heard powerhouse like not bad next time i will give it a try, if i not wrong it was the largest club in there 10,000 sq ft. ;)

Just imagine how Devils can survive with the new set-up of St.James & Cannary?? ( Even Thumper is closed for shop now) Anyway, Dennis Foo will not focus his energy in Devils anymore as well!!

All the staffs in Devils will be transfer to St.James Power Station. So..for those will balance bottles in Devils better finish else it'll be a truly waste.

Fights in DF is very common and always in the same area(facing stage on the right side) so just dont visit the area after 4.30am. i go so often until the "xiong shi" i also know liao:D

Me and my friends find the gals there are friendly leh..personally i approached a few and is quite ok. Usually i will start by offering drinks..if they refuse then forget lor. If they drink if you then got chance mah.

Dragonfly is the newest Ah Beng Chiong Joint!... A lot of the big dragon heads all go to dragon fly now.
If u go Este or Shanghai, all the lau bengs now go dragon fly. Not forgetting william scop , also got his own "group" of supporters..
The girls are quiet difficult to pick up..... for me, i rather go MOS or DEVILS. the hit rate is definately much much higher than dragonfly...
and usually these type of chinese singing discos are packed with customers bringing their prc girls there... so definately a lot of problems...

wait till the resort is up... definately a lot more tourist.... and a lot of lonely women around DragonFly..

Nope. I ordered Chivas......where do u normally hang ard?? I usually stay behind the stage near the bar counter....From my observation, most of the gals in DF r all 'bao' by the sugar daddies!!! Given that this place has so many fights, I also dun dare to approach them given the chance.....LOL

this place got 3 level,

level 1 pub area with some performing singer. (if I did not remember wrongly)
level 2 ktv pub area, can select your songs to sing etc. (we stay at level2)
level 3 Karaoke room, each room is unique in design, and you can choose your favor design to suit your taste.

Bro lurpsexx is right.. most girls we saw at level 2 are mostly guess of some guys liao...
As for other girls, you have to fish yourself or self provide hence step in around 8pm and leave around 10pm empty handed:(

Maybe can consider bringing the gals from PD, DG or BS to DragonFly.
After HH, bring them to dragonfly and get a room on level 3. That should be quite fun. Some of my frens did bring one gal each from DG before.
