Hey bros out there what is the punishment for sexual acts with a minor?
My friend was sabo by her ex gf and her parents. She is just 14 and they only did some petting. Thanks alot for ur advices!

No answer is going to suit your case. (case by case basis)

haa sorry bro didnt make ting clear. she was in a girl home den the staff asked alot then she say out sabo my fren. all they did was touching each other private part no intercourse at all. then a police report was made. i duno against wad charge. is there anyway he can settle it without jail term. i dont tink its that serious right?. thanks bros for all ur valuable advices.

It's not so serious as you might think as he'll not be charged with rape as no intercourse took place. But there's a slight chance of being charged with molestation depending on the girls' statement.

Cases like these, even if withdrawn by the family will not neccessary be ok as the court can still proceed with the charges as minor is involved. Normally the court will look into both history with the law and their family background too before......

Sad to hear this sort of thing again. Sabo case or not, your friend is in serious trouble with the law. It would be better if you can tell us what is the EXACT charge against him. If it is molest, his buttocks will not be spared. The most important thing is WHEN the alleged offence took place. Both ages of the parties involved at the time of offence plays an important role in the punishment meted out by the judge. If the guy is 19 or less, there is a high chance he might get probation, fine or both. If 20, a jail sentence is definite plus some caning if it is molest.
All in all, this is indeed a very trying and terrible time for your friend. He really trust you if he can confide such thing to you. He needs all your care and concern NOW.

At a final note, have your friend engaged a lawyer? Lawyers might not help much in this sort of cases. But, they can advise your friend what kind of punishment he will get. Let him get prepared. Lawyers are also in a better position to explain to his parents. Dun worry so much about the fees. Usually, they will tagged the fees to your friend's salary. If your friend is not working, he might get away with a few hundred bucks or even FOC (for those kind hearted lawyers).

no sexual intercourse, only petting = no offence, unless

1) they engaged in oral sex - unnatural lust(penal code offence),
or
2) the girl falsely alleged that she was an unwillingly partner - molest(also penal code offence)
