Recently my wife and me decided to split up. It all happened 2 weeks ago.

I caught her flirting with a guy whom she claim is not in Singapore. Some discord channel that created by her friends. At first when I did ask her. Did anyone personal msg you in the discord channel. She said nope.

But she didn't know I have already seen it. So I asked her to let me see her phone. All the private msg were gone. So I asked her. Why did she lie to me???
So after a few heated arguments. She said let's split up.

So for 3 days or so. So wouldn't talk to me at all. Doing stuff on her own. After 3 days. I asked her. What's wrong???

She said I think is better for us to spilt up. We are really not suitable. Since last time every word I say or I do. I have to think about whether you will be angry anot.

But I told her. I thought we were supposed to talk about the discord channel thing?

End of the day she say let's split up. I had enough of this toxic relationship . So now every single day. I kept talking and persuading her about this relationship we had...

But to no avail.

Up till today. She told me. Tonight she will be going out with her friends after our son sleeps. I just kept quiet. Didn't say much.

Inside my heart obviously is burning. Never once she is like this.

Every time I talk to her about this relationship. She will say you no need to worry about our son growing up without a complete family. We can still do our part as parents. And she will keep say. Just let everything go. Don't bother doing anything. I won't change my mind.

So now everyday she will treat me as transparent. But if I do speak to her. She will reply back as per normal. Other then that. She won't bother anything.

For my case. We are NOT officially married. But we have a kid. Birth certificate do NOT have my name on it. Only my son has my DNA.

So me myself really do not know what to do about this relationship. Should I just move out or should I just stay on to let her feel that I did changed?

Unlike men, once a women's heart change...it is usually forever

The more you tried to cling to the relationship, the more she will depise you for it...it's not up to you

Sorry for the bearer of bad news...walk away and invest in yourself instead..

wtf? you expect her to be more than a wife with no toilet paper?

who wants to be with a man who doesn't want to recognize her as a wife under the law.

Currently I am still staying at her place. So your advise is I should just move off from here?

Bro. There are some reasons behind it though. Not very convenient to say it here

Do note with DNA, you will pay child maintenance if she wants it.

However, this is not important. Regardless how adults fuck around, the child is innocent. Just look at the percentage of problem child from a single parent family. They will never recover from the psychological damage of a broken family. So split amicably with proper management of the child if that is unavoidable.

Sometimes it might be better for all to split and find their real happiness. However please take care of the kid no matter what happened.

All the best Bro Fabiann

Bro you are behind a veil of ignomity. Why not convenient? You have too many holes in your story that you prefer not to divulge. Its very hard for others to understand your plight in this case and advice you.

Both of you can enjoy all kinds of relationship but just take care of the child. Since she has lost heart with you then just move on with life.

the relationship wif your partner's gone - she is letting go, you should too.

how's your relationship with your son? are you a good father to him?
it'll be hard work but you can still be his father after the split.

yes, moving out to give yourselves space is a good idea.
but you need to explain to your boy adults do split but it's not his fault.
work out a schedule to spend time with him - provided u want to be his father still

Bro, your question is "Should I just move out or should I just stay on to let her feel that I did changed?"

Usually girls won't just drop the "lets spilt" with just a question on why she lied.
The question is only the trigger and most likely her heart is already gone.

People like security, so unless the unhappiness is so great, she won't leave just for a guy she is flirting with. Most likely its beyond the flirting stage.

Did I miss out the part on her complains and what you did to change?
Assuming you voice out and you did change, to make her change her heart and stay, you need to undo all the unhappiness which lead her to want to break just from you asking.

Changing doesn't means can undo all the unhappiness. It takes time and it may not be on your side.

Changing for the sake for others will be torturous to you as well.

It will be easier to move out and move on.

To TS,

I think your girl is moving on with her life, you should too, it is better to just move on at this stage.

I have recently divorced with a son, naturally it is hurting him in some ways, but he is laughing more nowadays. I rather see him laughing than to see him be frighten and cry when my ex and me fight.

I did ask some of my ladies friends regarding this situation. Some of them said. Maybe she is feeling guilty that she flirt around in that discord channel. That's why she is feeling bad.

So in order not to feel bad. She start to bring up the past. Saying I am always letting her feel bad, as if everything is her wrong. .

They even said. Your gf loves her face. Cannot lose type one.

For now I am still staying in her place. But whenever I come back. I don't talk to her at all. But we do still sleep on the same bed. Heng never chase me out of the living room.

But still. She told me last week that by end of April. You move out.

So for now. I don't know what should I do. Carry on the silent war and hope she will give in after she cool down ? Or just pack and leave

TS, firstly do you depend on her for a living or paying some of your bills. Both of you not married and just stay together and son is yours so what are you trying drive at or to hold on to.

Even if you have a married cert, I guess in this modern world doesn't mean anything when time to split, let not talk about just a mutual kind of arrangement.

Take Care.

usually women heart's change, its forever...most likely she has already make up her mind long ago and set to leave you..your quarrel with her is just giving her the opportunity to leave you...do not beg nor plead her to stay on, it will just irrates her and push her even more away...

Sad to say, likely there's another man in the picture..irregardless,move on with your life bro...invest inyrself..tc.

Nope bro. Before she was working. Everything is relying on me. When she starts work 2 months ago. Then some stuff she is paying for now. I am trying to hold on because of my son. I can't imagine. If I do move out. I am unable to see my son on a daily basis.

That's why now. Is like I am damn thick skinned to keep stay there.

I mean this is her house...she want u to go u should just pack up and go....seriously for u not to have a house and yet stay at a woman's place is kind of degrading.

As a man, you should provide a roof for the woman...since u lack the capability to do so and has been staying at her place for so long...it is only right u pack up ur bags and leave now tat she want you out of her life....

And before she is working, u r paying for the stuffs....it is only right u do so since u r staying at her place. Now that she starts paying for her own. Time for u to go if u r not welcome there.

And i dun understand why u would have a kid with her in the first place when u cannot even afford ur own place.....:confused::confused:

hmmmm think she is not your wife since you two are not married in the first place.

I would say girls like to use "let's spilit" "Divorce" more than guys. If you love her and want to give another chance to this relationship (despite catching her unloyal to you), then please cling on to it.

Don't cling on someone whose meant to go and doesn't want to stay.

It will just cause unhappiness for you and her.

Look beyond.

Spend your life with a girl whose willing to spend her life with you.

Time is precious. So spend it well.

Hurt feelings will be repaired if not, numbed, by the flow of time.

Nothing last forever.
