Recently after my overseas trip, I sort of lost the fire and passion to do the fun things I used to do, like going for massage, chatting up ladies etc. Even at work I seem to procrastinate a lot more often.

Has it got anything to do with my age? Im 31 this year, still single...these are not symptoms of any kind of illnesses right??

It could be a sign of depression. I went through a similar experience where the things I used to enjoy doing suddenly felt meaningless and futile.

I ignored the symptoms and just carried on with my life but a few months later insomnia set in.

I've always had absolutely no problems getting a good night's sleep so when I found myself lying awake at 3 am i knew something was seriously wrong.

TS,

That's only one of the numerous causes. My testosterone levels are fine.

Same like you. I suddenly lost interest in everything. Drinking, hanging flowers, ktv, all those who have met me know how insane i am when i head out to have fun. I never want to go home. However i think this has become something i am not keen of anymore. But i am certain it is not depression as BOSS stated because i experienced depression previously.

It maybe depression, I experienced the same thing and thought it wasn’t until I visit a physcologist friend which confirmed it. Lucky for me it very mild.
Possible causes could be many stuff but for me it kinda betrayal by business partner and becoz of it I compromised many of my principles which defined me. And that make me feel like I am no longer me anymore

This is called Mid-life Crises lah.
I bet everyone have it once in their life time.
I used to be happy all the time.
But right now, I kind of have a lot of mood swings. :p

lol, well it could be for other people, but definitely not me, i never liked ktvs, went like 3 times before at least 8 years ago and really dun like it, secondly, i really dun like prc...haha so yeah...

but well i gotta admit i was stupid enough last time, to go drink and hang flower until heavily in debt, now under dcp to clear off them, so my monthly entertainment gotta stop anyway, but then again if not pain now, then when...

haha nice read, except for the spending more time and effort to change the appearance, the others dun apply to me, i hope this does not count as a mid life crisis though...

Boss, luckily the only time i am awake at 3am is either to watch soccer, or go to pee...or just back from home after a nite's out...i din lose interest in the things i enjoy except for like talking to girls, but now im back on OKC, with little replies as usual...haha
