Then suddenly say not happy, and come out with all sort of reasons, then say want buy a soft toy to make ownself happy. Then lady will say, soft toy so expensive, cannot afford to buy. Trying to pry on others symphathy. Why i say scam? Because i encounter 2 different lady over a period of times and the operandi is the same. So it is a scam. Just beware guys. Money is not alot, but we should not let this scam artistie succeed:cool:

For my part, I would play along for a while and then after about a week of chatting, they would ask what I was working as.

This is like a new style of begging. The amount actually not big. It's in RMB. Say birthday, hope to receive your blessing. Then no money buy cake. All along, they never ask you buy. Just act poor thing. As one bro mentions ,they even backup with photos.damn power. Small amounts but if many Bros sendz ,it's big amount. Just know, nothing is free in this world. Picture definitely chio. But the person typing the message, are we sure it's a "female"? High chance it's a dickhead scaming.

rule of thumb: any request for money big or small amount, just blacklist.

before you meet anyone, don't give out too much info or transfer or money at all. even prior to minutes of meeting them.

a few of latest scam:

1) asking for transport money to travel to meet you. they will ask for transport fees prior to them travelling to you or they will say I almost reaching but no more money to pay taxi.

2) asking you to visit a social website / app and asking you to top up gifts. Ga Ga Hi is one of them.

3) even if they gps themselves, don't believe in it. these gps positiions can be faked

play along with them if you enjoy conversation, and you will realise that the more they converse, the more you will realise how fake they are.

the final advice, if its too good to be true, then its confirmed fake. :D

PS : theres no need to be a nice gentleman or trying to be one by being generous.
