What is your feeling when you chance upon your long out of touch old flame in friendster which you have no prior frienster profile of her and realised that she is blissfully married with her prince charming (dun look charming to me though) as she has uploaded her wedding photos on site.

Sad? Regret?
Or to many,"sign..." Life goes on.

It made me thinker a bit. Reviving sweet memories of the days when we used to talk on the phone for hours, not forgetting the wonderful sex that we had in the car, hotel, her bedroom as well as mine. Recalled how we first met, our first kiss, our virgin date, etc.

To add to my misery, I am still single , waiting for my snow white to appear, at the same time, browsing the forum, filling up my sex life with flings and FLs.

That dun sound so bad to me. Look at it this way, when you are young and single, have all the flings you can without guilt, coz if you really did marry her, it would be the end of your flings ( or at least, severely curtailed as she will get suspicious if you fling too much ).

The right girl will come along. If not, well, lots of married people wish they were still single :-)

My flings aren't quality flings. I could have said that I am enjoying my singles life, when a girl willing to bed you for your money is just a phone call away. But with inflation at sky high, every penny spend on sex means less for other things.

She was a girl that could have kept me on my toes and yah, she initiated the break-up. Though she was a distant memory, this accidental click revived a great nastalgia for her.

It's quite a thought-provoking experience with a tingling bittersweet feeling actually...

Still remembered that day when i chanced upon my ex's friendster profile - 4 years since we broke up, thought i long forgotten about her, convinced myself that life should get on as the past gets buried with the passing of time - but at that moment, when i see that all so familiar smile on her face, a wave of emotion swept over me...

As i uncontrollably clicked on to see some of her pics, staring at the once so familiar smile and expressions on her face, a drop of tear unknowingly rolled dowm my cheek...

reminds me of elva's song ...

Until today, I'm still trying to find the profile for all my childhood sweethearts in my school days. No luck.

Guess I would feel the same way if I happen to see her wedding photos.

Did you managed to bonk her while she was your gf? If you did then there is no regret cuz that man is taking the 2nd poke, so don't feel so sad. You now no gf doesn't mean forever no gf and since you got gf before that shows you are not that ugly and got chance lar.:D if die die cannot find gf in sg then shift to prc or thai or any gal outside sg lor.

One thing I discover about foreign girls is that the initial hook up is not difficult as in breaking the ice but the courtship is not as easy as most think because foreign girls are sceptical towards guys not from their homeland. Even PRCs try to look for their people in S'pore. Strange but true.

You should have no problem finding a GF then, why still look backward.

Same thing happened to me. I guess the best thing is to be happy for her, remember the times that you had and to move on. For me, there was this one girl that even while we were going through the break-up I knew I would always love in some way, but just wasn't meant to be. When I saw her wedding pics on friendster, was a mix of emotions for sure. In the end, good for her la! And your life must also go on...remember it only takes one gal to make it right!

TS,

First love is always tough to forget. Will indulging in the memories make you feel better or worse?
Clinging on the feeling is tremble and refrains from doing.
What you have now single is not what others can have.
Enjoy your life and who know you might meet someone better.
Or best, she love you until can't wait no to meet up with your everyday.
Give yourself more choices with various perspective views. You will life on more meaningful and happier.

Dude,

she's married with a husband who dun look very good (according to you).

here u r, bedding many pretty fls and flings whose looks you fancy and who probably have more sex tricks up their sleeve than you can manage.

Sex without commitment and just for pleasure.

Who should envy who? Where is the problem bro?

Move On... :)

For me, when i see this thread, i had deep feel... once i had given up on a gd girl whom very obedience, very forgiving for my outside sex life... but i stil give up on her at my younger yrs... by the time i realised my mistake was already too late, 6yrs down the road when i saw her friendster updates of her wedding events, never did i knew that she was so beautiful, deep inside me was happy and blessing her well in future, she had finally found some1 better than me....

why i quote bro HayHot's words ? cos i cant find any better words than that.

Bro, you are not alone...

Mine ended like 2 yrs ago and I still cry for her alone in the office that we had wanted to build for our future before she left. I ended up building the business myself... And still fighting alone in the harsh business world.

Recently saw her in facebook.. she still look very good. While my slogging and hardwork has left traces of strains and sadness on my face these past years, making me look old and haggard.

Life...

have to learn to move on. If you really love the girl (or used to) and its parting on amicable terms, then you should feel happy that she is happy now, with or without you.

hi TS,
life still goes on. since she's blissfully married, no way any sane guy would want to ruin it. hollywood should stop inculcate such movies themes. probably you are in a little emptiness state, life isn't complete without a companion. like what i'm in now. my first puppy went ROM mode. second kitty is attached. it's a irreversible cycle. memories are meant to be cherish.

as the saying goes, in the midst of a difficulty, lies an opportunity.good luck. ;)
