no i am not a student. my 2 cents worth why i offered three different things

1. shoes: this is a old and dirty cafe. above the cafe, there are many apartments where workers stay. construction site is opposite the cafe. all the waiters in the cafe are poor. no uniform. torn flip flops, t-shirts with holes. the idea of the shoes was to basically indicate to her that i care for her in a humane way. guess that does not fly.

2. chocolate: i have a gf. i dont want to fuck that up. chocolate is a very very small but subtle gesture that maybe i want to know her beyond the current situation.

3. $50: this is the most riskiest. whether its $50 or $100 or $200, money implies that i see her as a FL. what is she isnt keen to be "that" in an open way.
