Not sure if any bros out there feel similar but after starting a family, a lot has changed at home. Wife completely focused on the child, no affection towards me, and just always expecting me to do everything and expect nothing in return.
To the world, we look happy. but I feel alone and even after going for counselling, it hasn't improved. Not sure if any of u are in a similar situation

Did you go for couple counselling or just went on your own?
If couple counselling, your counsellor should have ask both of you to express what you feel. Maybe your wife's view is completely opposite from yours.

Can relate with you on this case. But let's think it differently, your wife also might be drained for taking care of the child. Have you tried have some time without your kid being there?

Your case not unique, alot of husbands feel this way. Not alone but lonely. This is the married life for a man.
Maybe you warm up to your child might be a good way to starve off the loneliness. Or hang out with your male friends for similar hobbies etc.

humans havent evolved to read minds. State your displeasures and problems upfront. Problem with alot of singaporean husband is they henpecked and just keep focusing on issues rather than solutions.

Many bros are in similar situations.
Since u have a child, you need to think higher than what u just feel.
Marriage and family is more than just "feeling good" but more of being resilient to carry out your duties as a father.
Do your best to work on making things better with your wife. IF that doesnt work, find ways to keep yourself company without destroying the family. There are many options out there.
We men always have an advantage to get "company" in any way, shape or form. But please do not destroy your family, just to get that lil fun. Not stopping you from doing it, but do it safely.

Sometimes men married wrong wife. No choice but suck it up.
I got a friend who paid everything for his renovation and his wife paid nothing. And he did most of the clean up after reno. Even simple thing like washing a cup his wife also want him to do it when he is already very tired from the clean up.
Too many wrong wives around. Best is don't get married. The ladies are too spoilt.

Hahahahahahah, omg, I've been in this forum for awhile and never knew what CO is. I knew it's talking about their partner like SO, but never knew what it was, and at that point, I was too embarrassed to ask. Now I get it.....

I agree with this statement, sometimes marry wrong wife will make your life suffer.. Just stay solo and cheong, until you find a really suitable one and settle down... but then again, true colour will only appear after you stay with the person for a certain period... i think it depends on luck..

Errr, obviously, based on my post I got it now. When I realise CO was particularly talking about wife, it became obvious to me.
Previously I thought it just meant partner, like wife, gf, fwb, mistress. So, it wasn't obvious then.

Some people also call their wives OC (Officer in Charge) too although it ranks lower than CO.

It sounds like you're going through a challenging time,
and it's important to remember that you're not alone in facing these kinds of feelings.
Many individuals have experienced similar situations and emotions in their relationships after starting a family.
It's not uncommon for the dynamic between partners to shift when a new child enters the picture, as the focus and demands can be overwhelming.
Seeking counseling was a positive step, and while it might not have led to immediate changes,
remember that progress in relationships takes time.
It's essential to maintain open communication with your wife about how you're feeling.
Express your emotions and concerns, but also listen to her perspective to better understand her point of view.
Balancing the demands of parenting, work, and maintaining a healthy relationship can be quite challenging.
It might be helpful to continue counseling and explore strategies together that could improve your connection and balance responsibilities.
Remember that seeking support from friends, family,
or support groups can also provide you with a sense of understanding and camaraderie from those who have faced similar situations.
Every relationship is unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution.
But with patience, empathy, and ongoing effort from both partners,
it's possible to work towards a more fulfilling and balanced relationship.

Why is it that I always suffer from withdrawal s when i end an overnight session? I love the company and the sex comes last in my mind and heart. I build a rapport with an FL but i want something that's sincere. I sometimes just go through with the sex just because and not because i really want it. I don't want to sounds cheesey but quoting a certain song "We found love in a hopeless place" I mean i really would love to get to know her as a person and not just the person i had sex with because i forked out some money.

O.m.g. what talking you? Transfer you to LadyRain, let her properly suck your Yang qi till your pants drop.
So tiring to pave the pavement everyday alone, and let the female readers quietly enjoy these entire procession to much benefit of lustful guys. Dun want to read again, you are a disgrace and brought shame to us guys. I will walk away and avoid even if you walk on this pavement.

Very normal especially when the other half is a local bred singaporean :D
Don't know if it will make you feel better or worse but other country one oso have the same problem. Ask me. Married to uni sweetheart. Have 2 kids in secondary and helper and condo and all the material things. Wife is low libido, conservative and not really into womanly things and driven working woman. Cooking at home stopped even before the first kiddo popped out and never started even after the second left the oven.
Anger, frustration, lack of communication led me to GL where I am based for 16 years. Menopause now (it was actually on pause since 2 decades). Numerous rounds of couples counselling has not led to expected results to the extent that the situation has taken its toll on mental health.
But what to do this is life and a small problem when looking at the big picture. What I would do to not feel guilty about my GL escapades. Or maybe actually now have a FB. With age Sex becomes a companionship thing.
Just ranting. But to all bro out there, try to solve this early on, if not, my fate will be your destiny.

I am 45.
Failed my CISSP exam.
Recovered from a 2-year-old stomach disease and I was saved by God as he sent an angel into my life and also broke my heart.
Right now I only hope I get a better job, raise my payscale above $5k.
Get a 2 brm bto. I don't think I can be a ciso but I'll try.
Divorced. No kid. Missed really getting married but not in financial sense to do that now.

CISSP is a different thing. Did u see this admin here hardly share any useful technical knowledge here, instead talk logical sense which means nothing at all. And he corrected my saying in english which also means nothing at all. Web development, database and controller programming are different however they are similar in nature. Did u ever hear admin ever share anything proper at all?
So do you have any fundamental knowledge in IT administration or IT network at school? Or working experience? Maybe you have, maybe u dun, maybe you gei gei. Nobody knows except yourself. I dun think it is really useful for me to know unless you share further details.
Even a bei lai ginna, leng lui chao ah lian ginna programmer zhai ya cisco, dua kang cisco, say can che lai che ker on google, xi google xi peng you.

Lol. I have to apologize. I always go into this when I don't know what to share.
I just got heartbroken but I got a one or two female contacts from Tinder and CMD on hand.
I blew off 9 interviews.
I can afford to burn about $1400 a month for 4 fks a week for a local FL but I'm not going to do that.
Fk. I miss her.

Network not easy. You may have to break all ties with your local FL. What if you not happy, tell everything to her for the sake of fucking then she tell the whole world?
Sometimes this network industry is not applicable for everyone, even if i urgently need $, i dun want to advance this career in my retirement.
You got see admin ever comment here at least a bit at all or not? No job okay, you go enter network for a living, then you come here kao pei, worth it or not? You got experience sammyhunk add salt to your bleeding wound and continuously kao pei kao pu your wounds or not?
Join other industries, why enter this industry if you do not know what is the end? It is like the police investigation officer everyday sell double sided face in public and por govt. It is not damn easy okay?

Bro your situation seems like a close friend of mine. Have you consider seeking doctor help in terms of libidoo issue or is it because of vaginal pain? If sex part addressed, will you be happy? Or there's still GFE lacking?
These are difficult questions need deep introspection happy to help a bro out
