If you dont mind paying a bit more, I used flowtheroom to book a dayuse.
Lets just say that some of the existing hotels has a way for for the cardholder to let the 2nd guest in without the front desk seeing

a good way is to ask them to wait for level 2, or at the level with the pool or gym, usually these floors can access without the room key, and they can just hangout there while u check in.

or the floors with the function/meetings rooms also good place to wait.
