My wife is pre-menopause so I masturbate regularly to keep my prostate healthy and pipes clear.

I practice edging so I can move more semen out to clear out the plumbing well to prevent any back up residuals that might cause problems down the road. Personally its about the quality of the ejaculation and not frequency. Sure I might be too horny sometimes and edge myself 2 or 3 times a day but only because sometimes I have too much time and nothing much else to do :p
