Weird things experienced in Geylang

What weird things have you bros ever experienced in Geylang?

Here is mine:
Last week I was walking at the main-road near lor 16 where a few illegal cigarette-sellers were standing. One of them looked at me scared, quickly took his stuff and ran away as fast as he could. A few meters futher another one did the same: he saw me, seemed to get scared, took his box of cigarettes and ran away like lightning.
Are they stupid or something? Or do they think I was a police-officer or something?:confused::confused:

I have seen four of them arresting and pinning down one man hard. They are real tough. That was few years ago when I go to Geylang to collect my goods from a shop every night.
This is their dress code.
Ordinary T shirt just like anyone of us. Watch out for the neck. There is a
warrant card hanging round with a string or tiny ropebehind the shirt.
Shorts just like anyone of us. Watch out for the waist pouch, Thats where they
put their handcuffs, wlkie talkies and guns inside.
They wear slippers or scandal just like us.
Whenever you are around Geylang, watch out for men in pairs with waist pouches. They are best seen when they are sitting around the corner.
You have nothing to fear them if you done nothing wrong.
