How to Get Started in the Geylang Business in 6 Months

Hi guys, does anyone know how to get started in the Geylang business? Perhaps by acquiring a license, becoming a landlord to a tenant who holds a license, or even simply being employed as part of the recruitment, immigration, or operations team? Below is what I know so far:

Stakeholder List (please add on):
- Property landlords
- Actual operators (license holders)
- Association of operators
- House managers, sales staff, cashiers
- The girls themselves
- Recruitment agents
- Migration brokers
- Transport and relocation facilitators
- Regulatory authorities such as anti-vice
- Immigration authorities
- Health authorities such as clinics
- Laundry services
- Cleaning services
- Infrastructure providers (intercoms and other systems)
- NGOs and advocacy groups
- Information infrastructure (online forums among clients, chat groups among girls)

Entry Pathways and Remarks (please add on):
- Join or start a vendor to modernize operations systems (record-keeping, payments, etc.), since accurate data is mandated by regulatory authorities
- Join or start a vendor to modernize the clinic flow (appointments, analytics, etc.), since accurate data is mandated by health authorities
- Represent the tenant (operator) for real estate solutions (lease renewal, new lease, etc.)
- Join or run the laundry and cleaning services
- Join or start a recruitment agency
- Join or start a migration broker to facilitate transport and immigration processes
- Actually work in a house
- Buy a license from someone exiting the business
- Buy a house (let the landlord earn so the landlord is willing, and let the operator pay less rent so the operator is willing)

Does anyone have any of the above opportunities?

They stopped giving out licence to new entrants.

The only way is unless you are the head of AV and you change the rules.

Or if you are the son of current licence holders and you inherit the licence.

How do you know they are not issuing any more license? Genuine question.

The OKT bosses told me one

Anyway there have been no new licenses for the past 10yrs+

This is why the number of Cat150/200 legal houses have been dewindling over the years, esp after Covid

Most of the owners are now in their 60-70s

So far I only know of 3 houses where the second gen have taken over

Lorna was OKT of L20H62 when it was PRC house. Are you telling me that the current OKT is her son.

What about L16H51 which was also her house run by Gordon? So the new dude is related to them.

1649 has also restarted. Lots of what we read online is to be taken with a much of salt....just my 2 cents

lol

sometimes I think about it, even if SPF can give licence also hard to find keeper, like where can new shops pop up?

the even lorongs nearer to Paya Lebar side now mostly is new shoebox condos so residents will kpkb not to mention there is also two schools nearby

SG GOV also step in in 2015 to rezone the Lor 4 to 22 to be commercial only, so let's say the prc houses L1606 to L1612 get en bloc, only can re build office/commerical just like the big Hakka building at Lor 18. No residential allowed.

hse 2033, i'm not sure the property belongs to who, but eventually the title deed owner would also wanna cash in millions of dollar and sell off the house to some developer and rebuild

Starting GL 2.0 in other parts of Singapore is out of the qns for now. Everyone has socmedia these days and they won't hesitate to kpkb online if the GL 2.0 start nearby.

maybe last time SPF close one eye for guys to relieve themselves (HJ BJ FJ) in massage shops, as a stopgap measure, but now Straits Times also full power keep reporting means SPF crackdown is coming soon

i think the only choice now is to take RTS opening the year end and go JB R&F to find FLs to fuck at a lower costs :D:D, maybe if got strong demand, then can push up price to attract more high quality younger ones coming over :D:D
