As the haze is most likely to get worse, will the business of the GL houses be affected? Just curious whether these houses will stay open despite this disastrous environment...

having said that, this is not the first or last jialat haze. Business will always go up and down especially school holidays. Just maintain good svc and most customers will eventually RTF

Haze even if hit 300 will not affect GL business lah. It's only outdoor activities or schools affected as they have open windows.

GL business activities are indoor and this is not Covid-19 virus where infection will spread. Just that you will see more customers wearing masks when coming into the shop that's all lol.

Yes, if haze gets worse likely the most they will install air purifiers near the entrance and exit points of the house that's all, and they are not expensive equipment.

Moreover, Singapore is so far away from Indonesia where PSI can reach 1000 levels lol, that one sure gone case. We are > 320 kilometres away from source of fire in Indonesia and by the time the wind blows here, all becomes insignificant.

In fact, 24-hour PSI has never reached above 300 in Singapore’s history, except those occasional spikes above 300 for 1hr PM2.5 which has happened before, so totally nothing to worry about.

I like the new website. Almost same with my company system. Maybe thats the fashion. It might affect RLD because Haze cause the customer cannot stand top. Plus dry weather. Drink water does not help.

Please la the environment inside the house with all the punters & OKT smoking 24/7 is even worse than the haze outside

Any regular chiongsters will be immuned to any haze hazard since they are used to sitting inside the house filled with disgusting cigg smell & smoke while waiting for their turn :D

I always complain about the smelly & smoking environment at my regular house & suggest to the OKT to bann smoking. He ask me sponsor him a air purfier fliter :D:rolleyes:

most of the houses got NEA letter of advice for aircon non smoking rules

but the tricky part is that it’s a residential property but licensed premise for regulated sexual activity

theoretically it’s not a business entity

so they just paste a no smoking sign

only saw once the enforcement officer stepped in to advocate that:D
