Yes, WLs in PT undergo mandatory healthchecks every 28 days. Mouth and pussy are checked for any infections. They are required for x-ray once every 2 years.

Normal stuff similar to work permit, or employment pass holders.

If your friend feel symptoms after a week or so, then he might have caught STD. He will have discomfort when passing urine. When bending down or applying pressure to the groin area, he will feel some pain.

He can go for check-up ASAP to find out. The doctor will require a blood test for STD and HIV.
