I dun bout you guys but I think that the article will lead to clamp down in the area for awhile.

I dun know why the tabloids do this....guess nothing elase news worthy in the island.

ya agree brother. the boys in blue will raid this area like no business for the next few weeks. was thinking of going blue star for some drinks n gers after my pay day end of this mth. looks like gone case liao. the three places mentioned will ganna hit most hard. so brothers ket's pray hard

not only will JC will be affected..... when big mouths like New Paper publish something lydat, JC, Katong, Geylang will all be affected.... even the gals will avoid going to work or go back china early because of this... they r getting smarter everyday...

Agree with Bro Dom01. FYI, AV is aware of such activities, but chose to close one eye, unless people complain , and then they will act. After the raid, the businesses will be back.

Do you know that undercover police officers need to relax at such KTV joints/ HC centres to gain intelligence about criminals who frequent such places?

Yeah, it is just wayang type of raid, with advance info given. It's like a cat and mouse game. If they are all out to wipe out all these, they can send the entire AV or even mobilise their reservist!

ONe suggestion - if you cannot beat it, legalise it, after all it is the oldest profession. Just register them, make them go thru' some medical and AV got less work to do, less manp0wer there, so we save some taxpayer's money and also, less STD - many, many advantages. Wonder if AV monitoring our threads here?

no need cheong....so far i haven't cheong JC area yet but got pass thru a couple of times i also know whats going on there.

as for promoting as tourist spot, it got me thinking abt the china tourists staying at GL budget hotels and seeing their own China FLs standing there. so is that supposed to be a "tourist attraction" then? haha
maybe for the likes of sex tourists lor like in Thailand, Cambodia, etc.
