Hi All I Might sound paranoid and kiasu But I got a really important question to ask

I will be going to geylang for the first time for sex And If I visit a legal Prostitute
With condom What are the chances I will get infected with anything?
Like any skin disease or Hiv STD due to the open area around the penis is it possible I get anything and If theres any guy who gave the virus to the girl How safe is it really?

Should be "Please ADVISE me...". "Advice" is a noun.

Condoms don't protect against viral STDs that are transmitted via skin to skin contact as they do not cover the base of the shaft or the penis and the surrounding areas such as the scrotum.

There is also the risk that the condom may break or come off during intercourse and that would expose you to a whole host of other STDs as well as HIV.

If you're worried about catching nasties, DON'T indulge in casual or commercial sex. It is very risky.

Condoms can largely reduce the chances of you getting STD but commercial sex or even casual sex is never risk free, even with all the necessary protection, there is always a chance, no matter how remote that the condom will break or there is any open wounds on your body that happens to come into contact with the other party's body fluids.

Bro they maybe tested negative during the test but then again they may have been infected but still not in the stage where it can be detected by the STD tests. It's either that or after the test, they maybe infected.

Even oral sex can get u infected FYI. Condoms can break anytime during sex and if there is small chance that u'll be infected even with the condom on.

Morale of the story, u get involved in commercial or casual sex, u risk exposing urself to such dangers. So if u're scared, dun even start.

Go to a legal brothel is much safer than calling street walker because in the brothel, the prostitutes have to go medical check up every 2 weeks and condom is a must when having sex. They are more aware of safe sex than the street walkers. However, there is still a small risk of getting sex disease.

Braddah you should not say risk is small. You are thinking tail risk but tail risk has catastrophic effects. in his situation Herpes 1 and/or 2 or HIV or Hepititas. Can be combination too. You dun get high marks in mathematics nor statistics courses?

The risk of contracting hiv is very small provided the condom is handled properly and it it doesnt break/tear.
The risk of other STDs is minimal but not impossible.
The risk of herpes and genital warts is very high and these are incurable diseases. Condoms will not protect against these diseases.
If you really hv to, the condom will cut down yr risks tremendously though not 100% foolproof.

Braddah, on an isolated basis meaning each point seperately your information is corrrect. But the braddah is asking is it worth the risk to lose his virginity at GL. Braddah, I think you are wrong to suggest he go by downplaying the risks. The overall risk is high bradddah especially given the alternatives the young braddah has such as meet a GF at his university and engage in a monogamous courtship including sex with only one partner. Braddah, instread you are asking the braddah to go to GL and sleep with a woman who sleeps with men who buy sex frequently and therefore the pool of people he is in contact with directly and indirectly is higher risk than his alternatives. Braddah, I think your suggestion is irresponsible. Young braddah, please read my advice instead.
