To those who drink at Joo Chiat!

Hi,

My subject matter has got nothing to do with Sex but I thought there is some relevant to this thread so no flaming please.

I just got home after a drink JOO Chiat's Blue Star. I left the place at about 115am and shortly after turning left from the open car park into joo chiat road, I was stopped by the police conducting Breathalyser test. It was barely 20 meteres from Blue Star. I was Shocked because this is the first time I encounter such an operation at a minor road.

lucky for me, mine test was ok because tonight I'm sick so never really "drink like a fish"

Knowing that some bros here do frequent there, I decided to post it here to share/warn you.

If you want to drink and drive, then you better find a way.

Cheers!

If i am mistaken, this coming weekend also got breathelyzer test again. Apparently the police claims that with more such tests, accident rates go down.

yes , accidents go down, cuz the amount of licensed drivers will be dropped like mad

Fellow Bros,

I personally know of 4 guys that had their driving licence revoke because of drink drivingin 2004!! It has caused hugh amount of inconvience to them in addition to the ban and money fines!! Really dun pay to drink and drive! I normally send my family back, leave the car and then take a public transport back to town for the drinking session!

One tip that I learnt but yet to actually try it out is getting a tow truck to tow your vehicle back to your place. Cos, the cost of taking a taxi home and back to the carpark the next day is almost the same as the cost of hiring a tow truck, plus it save u the inconvience. :)

Anyone ever tried those "Drive you home" services? where the drivers drive you home in your own car in case you get drunk?
any feedback?

Tell them L P... 1 of the statement from them, speeding kills. KNN I was driving 100km/h in the most right lane when a TP zoom passed me n slow down then zoom again. KNN I tried to keep up with him but with me at 120km/h that asshole TP is far far ahead of me. They drive like they r the king on the road. So what they have special riding course. Racer has special course too but they can't speed on the road.

It is drink driving that they are targeting currently. Usually @ Joo Chiat, do not have. Thread starter is just sharing information, also Joo Chiat lately is hot topic in the news. MP is now also involved. So they have to do something.

I know where you are coming, think some of us have encountered similar situation.

I followed a TP once, damn shiok, cheong all the way. The TP is 'esorting' my car, no traffic, no car dare to block our way. But I paid a price for this, cos he brought me to LTA for inspection, n I kena $500 fine for modification of car.

i guess all TP vehicles are modified. If you can follow, that means your car is also modified. after all, their vehicles are modified to outrun and outlast ordinary and even some modified cars. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out right? hehe! itchy backside lah! :p
