Still a long way to go for vacination for STI, currently there is only vacination for HPV.

Vacination will be better for humankind but it's long road with lots of obstacles.

The current HPV vaccine is only a few type of HPV only. IT DOES NOT PROTECT AGAINST ALL HPV.

Dont get bluff by their advertisement.

Some is still better than none? Anyway, I quote that as example of vacination against STIs, other that perhaps Hept B which also classified as one of the STIs?

Other than that condoms, will ultimately only reduces the chances of getting STIs.

Having "fun" definitely will have its risks, so always play safe. Use protection and get vaccination if available and possible.

I saw a clip before that many porn actresses and actors use condoms but still get STD. Means its still not full proof. Let me try to find that clip again & if i can, i will share it here.

Like all drugs, never trust your doctor's word at face value. Most of you have probably heard of the HPV vaccine called Gardasil that repels the virus that supposedly causes cervical cancer. It has killed people in India and has been taken off the shelf. Google and you shall be enlightened.

A bit off topic but since we are talking about prophylaxis and closer to home, most parents would be familiar with the MMR vaccine. It has been swirling around for years that it carries a potential autism risk. Have you ever been warned by your doctors? Would you go ahead and allow your kid to take the jab knowing those risks? I think most of us in sane mind will not. And as far as I am aware, none of the people I know have been warned by their doctors.

I could go on and on about other drugs but its all out there if one cares to search. Here's the bone, go search on statins, which I believe is a major prescription drug amongst us. Its gonna startle you. Always adopt a cynical approach to synthetic drugs. Know that they were created for profit, not with your health in mind. Futhermore, western medication is heavily biased towards palliative treatment, it doesn't address the root cause(s).

Its been approved for distribution by the American FDA not the Singapore HSA :rolleyes:

later wait to protect the "aids treatment drug" in singapore , our HSA dont allow the drug then u also very sian..... :D
