There is bleeding because the hymen is torn. And blood as we know is red (or brown for dried/'aged' blood).. Shouldn't be any different in color from what women experience during the monthly flows,

My guess is that is is faked and the color is as a results of so e chemical reactions after erh...coming into contact wi bodily fluids..
